Yes, if I am batting and the challenge has perks or packages I have this issue. Say it's "get on base". I hit a single. No success or failure message. Then the next batter (a cpu batter) strikes out. I fail the challenge.

@SDS_JoeK_PSN Sounds like typical RTTS. Been neglected for too long and dumbed down. I've played this game since 2012. I doubt I'll buy it ever again because RTTS is the only mode I play and it's awful these days.

How can I request a trade, or more playing time, or to move up in the lineup? These are all things you used to be able to do. I'm on a season after hitting over .330 and I'm stuck hitting 7th.
It feels like this game mode is super neglected.
