For all you HR derbiers out there, here is a tip to make it go faster. Press triangle and circle at the same time when you swing. It skips much faster. It doesn't matter which button you press to hit a HR. I hit 500 foot home runs using the circle button. Also, energy doesn't matter. Only call a timeout when the timer is about to run out so you can get an extra home run. I think HR Derby is the best way to get XP if you don't mind the grinding. I'm 94 diamond XP level. I would be higher but I only started doing HR Derby a week ago.

Is it just me or is timing way off on hitting. I'm late on most pitches and very late against fastballs. And I'm playing the moments on veteran difficulty. The ball isn't carrying that much and I'm not making solid contact. I was playing the show 24 last week and didn't have any of these issues.

I tried arcade mode but I had to focus too much on it. I like HR derby. Energy isn't a factor at all in HR derby too

Has anyone else noticed that the exit velocity is low? I am playing on rookie mode against the computer to grind stats for team affinity and I have to power swing to have a decent exit velocity. Otherwise the result is a weak fly out or ground out. Hitting feels different compared to years past. I never used power swing and now I feel I have to in order to have an extra base hit.

It seems that with the new ambush hitting you can get better output results, but I'd rather not be forced to use in order to have solid contact.

I’ve played and beat the Mariner’s stronghold 3 times so far in the most recent conquest and each time it didn’t register that I won. After each time it didn’t count, I would close the app and restart my PS5 and then play again and win and it still wasn’t counting. This game is so broken right now. Its like they will patch one bug and then 20 more happen because of that patch.

With the addition of the extra innings rule in 2020, a runner is put on second base to start the inning in extras. Is the game still perfect at this point or is the perfect game over since a runner reached base but by no fault of the pitcher. What do you all think?

How much xp per game? That seems boring but 94 diamond? Lol im 48 silver

approximately 9k-10k XP per derby which takes about 30 minutes. So basically you level up every 30 minutes

Please tell me what setup to play. Never played hr derby. One on one vs computer?

I have an 8 man HR derby and all 8 men are Ted Williams. I play at Coors field.

I should be at 98 diamond but it keeps resetting back to 97. Ive done everything. Closed the application and went into a moment. Has anyone had experience with it. I know there is nothing that can be done. My question is how long will I have to wait to get XP again. Of course this would happen to me right as im about to prestige.

Nope. It still isn't letting me get xp and its past 3 pm PST

probably resets at 3 am est time and 10 levels a day (or 3am to next day 3am)

I earned 15 levels yesterday and 7 today then it stopped letting me earn XP after 7

I have no clue how it works. I would just stop playing after you hit your cap for the day and then continue the grind the next. Funny how SDS doesnt reward you for playing their own game a ton.

I still can earn XP from the rewards earned from showdown, moments, and making CS and WS. So that's good.

I believe 10,500 xp

I just prestige actually and its 42,000 between levels

At the end of the third inning conquest, after you conquer the Indians, you get a ballin is a habit pack

When do the twitch packs from that stream go into our inventory. I have everything linked and I claimed both packs on twitch.

If you close out of game and sign back in, it should register. Stupid you have to do this , but SDS can’t seem to figure things out.

Tried that. Still not counting. 4 games. 4 wins. No progress.
