Here has been my experience with Two Way RTTS QOL issues.
I played an entire half season before realizing I wasn’t progressing as an outfielder or starting pitcher....cause if the load out you select pregame isn’t your active load out. There’s not progression tracking. This means I have to pay real close attention to when I’m pitching (which changes frequently. More on that soon)
I think it would be best if when you select a load out in that pregame screen, it should become the active loadout. If that’s not possible we should be able to back out of the screen so that we don’t have to restart the game to be able to change our active loadout for the gain and have progression tracked. An overly complicated and or redundant system that could be streamlined with a few tweaks.
Now, as a result of the active loadout not being applied when selecting a loadout in the pregame interface... I’ve started going to view the calendar and starting my games from there.. I’m able to see when I’m pitching next and that helps me with knowing when I need to switch my active loadout.
However the following has happened to me enough that having to quit and restart is making me feel like I’ve gone back in time and need to blow on a cartridge. Hahaha.
I currently have a situation where it is showing me as the starting pitcher on the calendar. So I set to my SP loadout as active.
I go in and start the game but once that screen loads I’m no longer pitching. I’m either outfield or DH. So due to not being able to back out and change my active load out. I quit. Restart. Check the calendar still starting pitcher. Back out. Change the active to OF cause last time it switched on me. This time it doesn’t switch. So I rinse and repeat. 5 times. Each time it had me on opposite of what I’ve set my active load out to.
Even when I rebooted the 5th time. I left the active load out alone and hoped it would just work. Nope.
I’ve had this happen a lot. But never had it happen where one quit and restart wouldn’t fix the little mixup.
So. That’s my two way bummer rant. Not too bad. But a bummer nonetheless.
I’ve already missed out on so much progression for half the season that I might as well restart in the American League so I can enjoy batting too. That or just cave and do DD. I’m not a fan of these card pack games though.
Just wanna know if I’m alone in my frustrations.
Thank you for your time if you’ve made it this far.
