@Teak2112_MLBTS I'd be happy if the fresh start (or whatever it's called) one, or something like it, had repeatable rewards other than just the championship bundle. The repeatable ones in Classic aren't horrible, just not great, but with it having them, and the others not, it's just impossible to justify playing anything other than Classic. And, yes, them FINALLY adding in a repeatable conquest map (it should have been there from the start) sold a copy of The Show 26, because if this year ended without one, I would never have bought another iteration of The Show. And not only is it a repeatable one, it's a pretty good one.

I had a "perfect" timed swing on a change up in the middle of the zone... and somehow whiffed. Hitting has had issues in the past, but that's the first time I've seen that in a decade. I've also seen more whiffs on "good" timed swings on similarly located pitches this year than in the last nine years combined.
-
It's almost like they shouldn't have taken out the USA map, which has been in the game for 9 years and has been repeatable for rewards for the last eight.

@allday9128_PSN If you would like to continue to have a baseball game in the future, you might want to reconsider the "if you don't like my politics, don't buy my books" strategy. That has worked out for the person saying it exactly zero times so far.

This is one thing that EA does better than SDS. In Squad Battles in NHL, you play other people's actual teams, along with names, uniforms, and lineups. That way, not only do you not see the same teams over and over, you almost never see the same team twice. They should populate each new instance of mini-seasons with real players teams. Yes, there would still be a lot of overlap, but likely less than there is now. I would also love it if the CPU pitchers were subject to fatigue. Nothing like playing the same team four times in a row and seeing the exact same relievers in every game.
-
@PAinPA_PSN Depends on where you are. If you're in collections, where there are multiple pages for the uniforms, it doesn't work. If you are looking at them in inventory, where all uniforms are on one page, it does work.

Around 400. The main problem was that for most of this inning there just wasn't anything worthwhile to do. I had just shy of a million xp in inning 1. I'm going to have to struggle to get to 500k in this one, if I even bother. The sheen has worn off and it's getting worse.
-
Kudos for leaving this up. Made me laugh.
-
@PAinPA_PSN My opinion on that has always been "and?". That's not a fun way to play, I certainly will not be playing that way, but if that's how people want to do it, I never saw the problem with it. It was certainly a MUCH better state than what we have now. Look a the lowest difficulty on NHL. Yeah, you can score 30 goals a game, and it's the most boring thing you will ever do. Sure, some choose to do so, but nowhere near most. The lowest difficulty should not require actual skill in the game (and Rookie, as it stands now, very much so does) or you are preventing any new players from sticking around. People get the Show to play baseball, not Elden Ring, and if you are brand new to the franchise right now, that's probably exactly what it feels like.

I literally just turned the game on, saw that there was not only still not a repeatable conquest map, but no new one at all, and turned it right back off. I do not want to play ranked. I definitely do not want to play diamond quest. Mini-Seasons is fine, but I want an actual playable version of conquest back. It is completely absurd that they still haven't added a repeatable one. It seems they are actively trying to make the game as unfun as possible.

@ShDynasty1227_XBL There is no middle. You don't get a say. It's not your game. You can either deal with it, or go play something else. Those are the only options you have.

@ShDynasty1227_XBL said in Request to Return Long Term Investing via Back Orders:
I must say that I personally see no good reason to take away this investment method. It is just as speculative as regular investment and you may be left holding the bag on an eventual crash if the card doesn't hit.
This is, in no way, an "investment", nor is it "speculative". This only impacts order that have ALREADY hit. If the card doesn't go up, the orders aren't cancelled. This method was basically drop-ship scalping. You were only buying the product low AFTER you had already sold it high. It needed to go, and it needed to go a decade ago, and it most certainly is never coming back, nor should it.
-
@MarioMendoza935_XBL As far as I can find, it hasn't been stated either way yet, but since they are confirmed to be 91's (at least according to an article I found), and thus will work with the existing ones, I would guess no.
-
How would anyone know this? If we are going to see more, it should be soon, since the current ones cap at 91, and we're at 91, but if there even is another one, my guess would be the All-Star ones.
-
@SaveFarris_PSN Judge started as a common.
Edit: Well, I'm trying to delete this, but it won't let me. I missed that you said 2017. Did they seriously start him off as a bronze in his second year? I know when he was added to the game, it was as a common, but that was in 2016.
-
@PAinPA_PSN That would require four new cards, and as the last drop had two, that seems rather unlikely.
-
Being as Rolen requires either doing the Spring Training showdown four times or the Jackie one twice, the entire collection might as well not exist for me, because it grants nothing else, and I'm not doing showdowns multiple times, period. On the other hand, the new Mini-Season is probably the best thing they've added to the game since launch. Now, for the 10,000th time, if we could pretty pretty please with sugar and sprinkles on top get a repeatable conquest map. SDS is just trolling, at this point.
-
@go4stros25_PSN This is the only argument that ever needs to be made: if they're such an advantage, why do exactly zero serious competitive players use them? They allow people who otherwise wouldn't be able to play, to play. Not to play well, at all, but just to play, period. Competitively, they are a MASSIVE disadvantage.
-
@Ledfoot_19_PSN I used to think that... and then they created Showdowns.

Polo, but Polo back in like '17. They significantly changed how it worked along the way.
