ill say it for the people who don't want to. SDS made a game that cant support the frame rate very well for current gen consoles. sorry to tell you there is no fix for the issue but to get a next gen console.

I remember back when I had a ps4 pro you had 3 options to choose from for visuals. Wasn't it 4k without HDR, with HDR and 1080p? I can't remember. Does the game have something like that this year for Xbox?
I’ve tried everything I swear the game is just slow and laggy.. like you know how on franchise while going thru your roster it shows the player on the left and the overall on the top right? Just switching from player to player is laggy like how the [censored] is a franchise menu laggy???

It’s ridiculous sometimes and the game because unplayable even in an Xbox one X. Then other times it runs better but hopefully they can fix it because the longer I play this game the worse my opinion of it gets. When I first started it was like a 7/10 went up to about an 8.5/10 now it feels like a 5.5/10 an incomplete and rushed product with many glaring flaws. I’m considering just walking away from this title pretty soon.

I switched to a curved 35in benq gaming monitor and will never ever play on TV again. And did I actually read that fifa 21 and nba 2k is a smooth gameplay wtfffff lol yea right that's a good one man, nba feels like your ice skating on the court, it's so smooth running side to side and then pressing stick back just before you get to 3pt line knowing the opponent is gonna do that to hit a three but your guy keeps running and by the time 2k let's you stop your under the rim just in time to turn around and see the swish that's how smooth it is lol. Not having certain features is one thing but I’ve never seen frame rate issues this bad on any other game that was “designed for next gen”
mine has improved i think from day one. or maybe im just use to it. but i did change a few settings on my tv and it's at least playable.

the franchise menus should work fine. the dd menus though in your manage squad suck with lag.

check your system. i had the same issues at launch but now it plays much better. I had the PS4 version last year too and it's almost as same as that. the only parts that dip w/ severe lag is cut scenes and if the ball is hit into foul play.
I’ve tried my television, pc monitor, checked all my graphics settings and it’s the same.. like when I say laggy I don’t mean totally unplayable but for $90 it’s a laggy mess even on franchise when your player pops up in the top right like it’s just laggy af
