I am sure this has been asked before throughout this game’s history. I am a new Xbox player. Played last year, just in offline franchise. This year tried DD. I enjoy it. Have learned some hard lessons. Didn’t understand currency, etc. Spent some money that I shouldn’t have. It’s ok. Doesn’t bother me.

However, I do have an issue trying to use the PCI. Every video and YT’r that my son shows me all say that is the only way to go. I try and try, but I have significant neuropathy in both hands from military.

So, tried directional, and I can somewhat figure it out, but it seems once I try any online play, it just doesn’t work. Is there a methodology to get better at directional with online play, or is the system just so heavily weighted that it is PCI or bust?

Sorry for the long question, but your time is greatly appreciated. I have been playing RS. I get crushed but play out the games for the other person and just try to get innings.

I can’t thank you enough. I started looking at them. I admit…. Old and slow on the trends. Not sure how I missed these. Went and picked up a set of the red ones. Also got a set of the little foam ring things. Using both and this is helping, at least in single player on All-star.

I don’t have the precision, but the combination of the button things and the foam allow the gross moments to be more “precise” if that makes sense and I have a greater chance of ending up in the PCI Zone.

This combined with someone else’s suggestion to target players with over 100 contact and high vision. So, I have Jim Rice in outfield, etc. This is working better.

Well, I have no fix from my side, but it is nice to know that I am not going crazy.

Is anyone else have this constantly resetting so that you can not get the reward. I will get to 8 SO and then it resets and only shows the amount from the last game I played or 0. I can’t go higher than 8 for some reason.

I have a novel concept… how how about rebuilding the nearly 15 year old hitting and pitching model they use and rebuild it so you can actually use a 90 mph twirler like Maddux and have his movement and accuracy create outs.

The problem is on All-Star (the vast majority of players) there is simply no way to get outs without forever increasing the velocities and accuracy to reliably jam players inside. This is truly the only semi-reliable way for consistent outs. To correspond with this, they dramatically decrease the vision on players to reduce their timing windows making it harder to catch up. Unfortunately, this is their only means of balance to get outs and keep games moving at the lower levels.

It is frustrating for multiple reasons but mostly because it makes you have to use fastball pitchers and for most players there is no counter to it because they lack the physical capability to react fast enough. It is that simple and SDS knows it. It is not going to change because SDS does not want to invest in an overhaul of their system.
