Make bunting like hitting!! You have to move the PCI to get a good bunt down.
This. I don't mind bunts but to pull off a Juan Pierre special takes skill

I use the Razer Wolverine Tornament edition.
I got Judge
I grinded cap archetypes in beginner to rack up stats quick and am only like 30k XP from the bosses. There are probably faster methods as well.
@sodomojo01_xbl said in Quick pitch solution - real easy for 2022:
So is quick pitching and slide stepping the same? Or are they two different things?
Pretty much but guys use it out of the stretch with noone on. Any umpire would immediately call it an illegal pitch and an automatic ball. Not because they slidestep, but because they never come set at all. It's worse in this game because skipping the comeset animation actually warps the animation and throws off trying to pick up the release point. That gets magnified when they slidestep without coming set.
@burningtheday_xbl said in Pinpoint Pitching Glitch?:
I'm having a similar issue on the Xbox One and Series X. I noticed yesterday that it seems the "prompts" and "timing" on screen weren't matching up with my controller movement. Hard to explain.
I switched to my old XB1 controller and have had no issues. Not sure if it's actually something to do with my XSX controller, or what. I've used my XSX controller on both consoles and received the same results. No problems with the old XB1 controller.
The regular 1st party series x controller suck for pinpoint they are actually awful controllers. I bought a Razer Wolverine Tournament edition and had zero analog problems after on my series x. (I play on both systems before someone calls out my psn tag. I stay logged in with my psn tag on this site.
My best guess is who queued up first and who joined the others session.
Directional and pure analog should not be allowed in any competitive online mode. Play with friends and casual fine. Ranked seasons, events and battle royale, you should be forced to Zone.

They need to prevent people from pitching out of the stretch with nobody on base.
Do you mean slidestepping with noone on base. I actually don't mind it if they come set. But when they balk with it by not coming set it tends to glitch through the come set animation and warp the release points.
@el-fiama-bianca_xbl said in 102 mph:
fastballs are teh easiest pitch to hit by far. I'd rather Aroldis throw my a 105mph 4-seamer.. hell even a 2-seamer, than try and hit his 91mph splitter.
That splitter is filthy. But so [censored] hard to throw on pinpoint.

Why does it say I can use my cap at second base with secondary penalties but acts like he’s got a chain up his [censored] when trying to field a ball?
I made a thread on this on the DD section.
Make sure you have two load outs. On one, you have your maxed out diamond archetype whichever it is.
Then on your second loadout, equip which ever perk you want that your desired position is the first option available. ( Bronze Slick fielding - Catcher )Before each DD game activate your second loadout from the loadout screen. When you load into a game, it will present an option to choose which loadout you want to use. This is where you select your diamond archetype while having your desired position active.
We shouldn't have to do this workaround though. Secondaries should just work if they are going to be listed.

Can't say I've had someone launch a 1ft inside pitch.
I have had a definite ball get turned on and blasted out, but a ball a foot inside is [censored] near hitting the batter. If the ball is that inside it usually triggers the bail out animation and overrides the swing.
Currently in a freeze off. 2nd inning Currently down 2-1. He had a weak hit chased low out of the zone that found a hole up the middle. Them turned on an inside cutter out of the zone that apparently he barreled. I have a runner on second, 1 out, and he inexplicably tries a quick pickoff to 2nd when no extra steps taken by Trout on 2nd. I have no intentions of caving because his action locked up the game, and I am in a position to tie or take the lead this atbat. Who should bail in this freeze off.
It was supposed to say 3 or less lol, still. People put up 6 spots all the time, it the PCI size on all star. Players who can hit half way decent on HOF that got demoted back to all-star are going to CRUSH the ball on all star plain and simple.

I rushed creating my show.com account and am unsure what the actual username is. Is there a place we can check that being logged in from PSN? The reason I am asking is because I have a Series X that I am awaiting delivery on in the next week or so. And will basically play on whichever console my son isn't using at the time. However, all the set up must be done while logged in with the Show.com account and I am always logged in on PSN. I don't even know the Show.com username.
Have you gotten any response yet or found a solution?
No, just figured out I misread when I made the show.com account that my whole email was actually the username.
@genopolanco_psn said in All-star DD is the worst:
Sounds like you just played a goon or you need to work on pitching. Whether it’s being predictable or leaving too many fat pitches. I don’t care what difficulty it is, you shouldn’t be allowing 20 runs unless you’re using bronze/commons
People routinely put up 6-8 in BR. That's 3 less innings with not nearly as stacked a lineup. That's just the way All-star is if you have players who can hit on HOF or Legend.
@theminnmamba_xbl said in Perfect Perfect to CF is a joke.:
No matter what park I play in if I hit a perfect perfect to CF, LCF, or RCF it’s almost ALWAYS a fly out to the track. Can’t imagine I’m the only one frustrated by this. Perfect Perfects should be out less than 5% of the time. Fix it SDS
Batting average on perfect perfect was somewhere in the low .800s from what ainsee that sounds about right, also contact swings and perfect perfect flys with lower power guys much more likely to result in a deep fly out

Why should they quit? Seems like a weak take.
Why would they continue. I clearly explained that paralleling golds is useless and if they’re gonna lose anyway it would benefit us both to quit and get each of us to our next game. Thick skull??
They are new, they are already losing so maybe BP against live pitching to try to improve in a game that won't hurt their rank. That's actual advice I give to new players, mess around in the event, because ultimately it doesn't count and if you scrape together a few wins, you get a couple free cards.
No. And you are getting bent out of shape again. You'll feel a lot better once you realize people are a--holes and you are better off paying them no mind. I don't accept messages from non friends, why, because it's either a spam bot or someone wanting to be toxic. I don't sit there and whine about it on forums, I simply prevent the messages from even happening in the 1st place.
Improper warmups and not mound visiting or bringing them in at the start of an inning leads to rapid stamina drain and growth of your opponent's PCI.
