Nothing like an unhanded server Exception after working a 12 hour shift and trying to wind down after work.

Came to post same problem. Stuck at the defense lineup showing friendship boosts screen..

I grinded cap archetypes in beginner to rack up stats quick and am only like 30k XP from the bosses. There are probably faster methods as well.

Apparently that's what I bought this year. I thought I was buying the Show 21...

If guilty, Alomar is a scumbag. But he hasn't been found guilty yet. And you cancel culture folks are just as scummy.

In my opinion, something should be done about the pitcher's ball zone, which stretches way too far east and west, as well as north and south. Ranked Seasons is full of players that use the pitcher's to get an unfair advantage in the game. I could just see managers having heart attacks because a pitcher's game plan is to throw 3 balls way out the strike zone to the extent where the ball cannot even be grazed, then decide to throw one strike before throwing the rest balls the entire at bat. Pitchers would get fired left and right! That's not baseball, LOL. Looks like it's getting worse as the years go by!!

If the pitcher throws 4 of them in an at bat, you get 1st base free. Take a couple walks and watch as those pitches start to become meatballs. Why play ranked seasons of you aren't going to take easy runners?

Against CPU. Wait for a 2 ball count. CPU doesn't slide step in 2 or 3 ball counts. Also slide to the outside of 2nd on the steal. Helps avoid the tag on the bang bang play.

You can still play him there as secondary and the secondary "penalty" is almost nothing, it'll be fine, calm down.

Not with caps. Secondary with caps has actually acted as completely out of position with animations. This affects all positions but is most visible at Catcher or 1st base where your player will actually fail to catch pitches or throws to 1st a good portion of the time. But the bad animations do affect all positions.

I agree. But it also is a buggy mess. Ballplayer is completely jacked up, no stat program progression after reaching silver archetype, editing the name no working. XP not being given at times. It's a shame because the on field play is great, but all the modes are a broken buggy mess right now.

Well their hitting attributes won’t change no matter what position you put them in, but Hawk is a SS archetype, and maxed out he is a diamond. If you put him behind the dish and doesn’t have at least a gold badge then you can see that he is getting an out of position penalty.

Actually even if they still have the gold badge they get the out of position animations penalty as opposed to just the secondary position ratings hit.

No. And you are getting bent out of shape again. You'll feel a lot better once you realize people are a--holes and you are better off paying them no mind. I don't accept messages from non friends, why, because it's either a spam bot or someone wanting to be toxic. I don't sit there and whine about it on forums, I simply prevent the messages from even happening in the 1st place.

Primary positions are based of the archetype you are choosing. Sucks I know. So since his primary is RF, all other positions are secondary...which give you a penalty to the attributes.

It's further bugged than that though. Secondaries for ball player have you behave as if you are playing completely out of position. Not just the 5 point secondary penalty.

Directional and pure analog should not be allowed in any competitive online mode. Play with friends and casual fine. Ranked seasons, events and battle royale, you should be forced to Zone.
