Impressive how fast things went south with this release!!
Feature premiere promised improvement across de board and what we got is a clear set-back from 2020 on virtually every aspect, except maybe Stadium Builder, which is new and could be promising with a proper vault system.
The game is the same graphically, RTTS is broken and all the realism was sucked out of it with a broken ballplayer systems that is a bad idea on paper poorly executed... I mean what game in this world has a career mode in which you CAN'T START a career more than once??? You can start a new save file BUT your player will have the skills of your All-star Player saved from another world... You can be a speedy defender on Monday and a slow power hitter on Wednesday...
I mean even EA would not try this... Imagine being a scrambling QB on Monday and a run stop linebacker the next Sunday...
So basically it's like they took The Show 2020 made it worse and released it again... The next gen consoles makes loading faster but their sever fiasco is making things incredibly slow...
I genuinely think this game should be a case study in college class in the next few years... This game so far is the perfect example of "over promise, under deliver"... Next question is do you fix it OR do you Keep the money and run?
I'm sure they'll fix their servers and give us a few packs to forgive them but I really hope they will work on RTTS... I don't think they'll bother trying to fix any offline mode, but I'd like if they at least acknowledged the problems and promised solutions for 2022...
I know it's sad that 5 days after release I'm already looking forward to 2022... But seriously, 2020 was WAY better to play offline than this overhyped piece of software...
