For the Moonshot program one of the missions is to hit HR's with batters who have less than 75 power. Does anyone know if this needs to be from both sides? Like if a player has 74 power vs. right but 80 power vs left does it count? Does he have to be facing a righty for it to count?

I've been trying to level a CAP 2 way pitcher in RTTS, but I can't seem to level control on any of my pitches, except through the weekly training. Am I missing something or is there no way to increase control?
-
WTF, I can't be the only one who absolutely HATED 8 TB moments wiith Abreu and Olerud. Two hitters with sub 100 power asked to go yard twice. That's effing stupid.
-
Great job guys, stuck in a freeze off after you supposedly fixed it. Great job
-
My CAP is at catcher with "The Hawk" loadout. His fielding and accuracy are supposedly 99 each, but he keeps dropping everything and his throw indicator is miniscule. How did this not get addressed in the most recent patch? Hasn't this been an issue since launch?
-
I just leveled up my CAP's pitching and want him in my bullpen. Only problem is when I go to start a game in RS I'm only given the position player loadouts as options. Anyone else having this problem or am I simply missing something?

Thanks for the response!

Sorry if this has been answered 100 times, buuuuut: Are the rewards from the 7th inning showdown repeatable? Not the inning rewards, but the packs themselves? Like if I do it twice will I get the Ballin' is a Habit packs both times?

Like the title says. Brandon Phillips with homerun requirements. Note to SDS: THESE. ARE. NOT. FUN. All they are is frustrating.
I got em all done in under an hour. Not difficult.
You’re our hero.
Just to prove it wasn’t a total fluke, can you try it again and see if you also get it done in like 50 minutes? Should be no problem for a stud like you.
That might be tough.
-Your hero.
To be fair, I also aced a few challenges on the first attempt that drove some others crazy in the past few years. Two XBH with weak-hitting JP Crawford in one game, or four hits, a run, 2 RBI In a game with Neil Walker... but I never said it wasn’t tough. I just knew I had some luck.
Of course there are some tough moments... There are at least five threads here complaining about this one though. Seems like people don't want challenges, and then they blame SDS. Crazy.
The problem is that any player with a sub 80 power rating is almost immediately useless. The way the game is set up power is the only thing that matters. Contact helps, but with no power you're just at too much of a disadvantage
While this might be true in H2H games, does it really have anything to do with the Phillips program?
Are you joking? Half of them require homeruns and the other half require XBH. Without any power you're completely reliant on luck to pass them.

I'm an offline mostly player. I like the collection aspect of the game, but I've lost all taste for the gameplay. I just got Mickey and now I'm at a loss for anything to do or to look forward to. I want to use my DD squad, but there isn't anything for me. The only stat grinding I can do is innings for affinity, and that is a like using a rock hammer to tunnel out of prison.
Showdowns - The all or nothing aspect of these is terrible. Not to mention diamond fielding by scrubs and Perfect - Perfect lineouts all over the place. This was a good idea that has been poorly implemented. They require 45 minutes to 1 hour, and to wind up not progressing at all at the end of it is just bad design. The mini bosses should have given affinity as well, so that you actually got something for progressing through it.
I know that I'm ranting into the abyss. But after losing another showdown due to a robbed homerun I'm fecking steaming.

Its unfathomable to me that any designer would look at the amount of loading screens they're forcing on you and think, "this is fine."
-
I like slappy hitters, but Geez guys. Why do you insist on having power moments for singles hitters? Every single time.
-
It's definitely not a good look

In Andre Dawson moments I just hit a pitch on the outside corner. Off the bat it said "Perfect/ Perfect Flyball". Then it went foul and it changed to "Late / OK". Bug report this or known issue?

Its not even the players safety that worries me (although it does, the amount of travel puts them at a HUGE risk of infection). Are they going to sell tickets? Its a little hard to stay 6 feet away from people when in a stadium.
Like others have said, there is too much to explain in a video game forum

You're not wrong. Diamond Dynasty is definitely meant for the streamers, or at the very least the 2-3 hour/day player.

I assumed that double points was SDS putting in a catch-up mechanic and REALLY hoped they wouldn't patch it away. It was the only way I even going to attempt Team Affinity. I'm actually quite happy with stage 2, and would be fine with not doubling points there. Also, they tacitly admitted that Stage 1 showdowns were too hard when stage 2 was all Veteran difficulty. Now I'm back to cursing showdowns or play MTO for 6-8 hours if I want to catch up.
It's only going to get worse with stage 3 when all of sudden Toronto finally has something worthwhile and you have to grind through stages 1 and 2.
Low Power Hitter Homerun Question
Leveling control in my pitcher
Slappy, no speed, singles hitters needing 8 total bases
Aaaaaaaaand....I'm in another freeze off after the patch
My Ballplayer catcher still broken
My Ballplayer only showing position player load outs, no pitching
Repeating 7th inning showdown for ballin is a habit packs?
