With annual releases like this and Madden I always felt like there should be a reward program for returning players, but all we get is a pack of cards, how about special Deluxe Edition discount for 89.99 lol.

Having that problem with Kristian Campbell right now. He worked fine last year when choosing “Christian” as first name, but for some reason this year he’s editable like CAP and even when you put name in they refuse and say #28 or position he’s playing. Looks like he’s going to break camp too so hopefully they fix that as it’s two names in database and hoping they get his look better, don’t even get me started on Garrett Crochet appearance.

No video is showing Garrett Crochet will be same random guy as last year, literally his card is right there make the dude resemble himself. Honestly, one of the worst player builds, especially for high 80’s ace, you can’t get that wrong. I agree with the insanity of thinking coming on here to talk about things that can’t get fixed or aren’t realistic, players likenesses is fortunately one that is fixed and sometimes to amazing results. Last year they updated Duran and Casas and they smoothly changed in my franchise, they need to do the same updates across the game as they clearly didn’t update before launch which is pretty crazy with the whole engine being in place. I love the game never complain about that, always roster related so it would be great if they ramped up the updated builds I’m sure there’s someone on your team looking weird too.

You didn’t read very well then because I stated nothing but facts. Too many people like you come into these boards just to trash anyone that voices a logical opinion about the game we are all here discussing. I similarly stopped getting 2K years ago because it was repetitive and the Myplayer mode was way too greedy with micro transactions that I’m just not into with any games. Multiple people are merely voicing their disappointment that like 2K, SDS puts too much emphasis on DD making that experience top notch with all the players cards with real pictures but then you play offline mode like me with franchise and then you get cartoon player cards and not even updated player models from last year, sorry that’s an issue obviously to not remotely update the highest rated players on each team at least. Point is we’re all here for realism or else we would be playing Blitz and Barkley Shut Up and Jam. If you want Jackson Chourio or any of the Brew Crew’s studs to be completely wrong looking then great but I would like Garrett Crochet to look like a real guy not some random CAP, not asking for a lot.

Seriously almost a completely new game in that sense, where was this update the last 20 years?

I have to say, the bullpen logic is amazing. Never seen CPU bring in that many relievers if they weren’t getting shelled, it was always so annoying having a starter come in give it up and then bring in a relief guy and he carves you up and they leave him in for 4 innings even if he gassed.

Of course someone with Yank in their name would stir the pot. Obviously, I love baseball and I enjoy the game, what part annoys you? Me wanting Red Sox players especially to be life like and real? Or the part I expect there to be improvements on each installment? You make no sense, so let’s have Aaron Judge be 6’0”, long hair and mustache, and they call him number 99, you have no complaints? Everyone wants their guys to be in the realm of the real player so stop chiming in any time you see a post from a player that spent money, just like you, that wants an update to something in particular that matters to them, save your venom for mindless trolls here to annoy anyone here for the right reasons, because we love the game and want it to be the best for the year we play it.

I know what you mean I swear that happened years ago too. I had similar issues years ago can’t even remember when, but a ball would get hit in outfield and my fielder would lay out for it immediately, I swear it happened in the most critical times too, I thought it was stick drift as the R3 button controlled jump/dive by pushing stick. Can’t remember if I established it was stick drift or what but that infuriated me, hasn’t been an issue since so maybe it was bad equipment on my end.

People get so mad when you express your expectations from a $100 game annually, real player cards, updated appearance/name is said instead of #, and updated meaningful commentary not used in last 4 iterations. Read your other post Diesel and I concur, I want to see players not cartoon interpretations of them every time they come to bat. Don’t feel bad though I’m a Red Sox guy and Garrett Crochet is the ace but looks nothing like himself despite them having the very recent picture on his card of exactly how he looks.

I agree, Duran is Tyler O Neil swole for real so I’m not mad, but they got him looking Ricky Hendersonesque on lower half lol. Something about Duran’s hair and goatee need to be fixed they tried but it’s soul gloish. Crochet is definitely worst thing though especially the fact they have updated player card with his real appearance. Hoping this is top priority to fix upper echelon players at least, I did see they fixed Dever’s hair finally after wrong hair for 3 years.

Wow, they had Wong at 6’1” never noticed that before, that’s like saying Pedey is 5’10”.
Also Kristian Campbell is not looking the best they should definitely update him being possible opening day 2nd Baseman, number 5 ranked player in MLB, Mayer and Anthony look good as far as the Big 3 though. Huge complaint other than Kristian Campbell’s appearance is his name isn’t programmed, even after manually putting “Christian” for audio first name and “Campbell”, still they refuse to say his name only his position or number, last year when I called him up and did same thing they said his name as they normally do if it’s a name in the database. Not sure if that is some other larger issue, although I did notice he’s appearing as CAP since you can modify everything (face, hair, etc.) when usually you can only edit position or other things and equipment but if you want to make Garrett Crochet rightfully bald with a beard, you can’t. Hoping Connor Wong gets long overdue upgrade too, and Trevor Story.

Hit right on directional pad for bullpen, left on dpad for substitutions, they just changed up on dpad doing those features.
