That’s not true, updated face scans do update in started franchise. Garrett Crochet last year updated in like June (added a beard oooh) and Tristan Casas and Jarren Duran all changed in franchise a few years ago. Also remember Bichette and Vlad’s hair being updated as well.

Yeah I can confirm face change will take effect in Franchise, Tristan Casas a few years ago prime example he looked like him one day I was flabbergasted. Last year they took til June to add beard to Garrett Crochet, insanity.

Never had this issue in previous games as far as the black neck or two toned back neck. How do you get the face to map so well and jack up the insignificant things like the neck that has nothing to do with the facial features, perhaps mimic the shade of the person’s face? No natural lighting works to stop this issue and I am bearded but again this didn’t happen last year, other than it awkwardly just taking parts of your beard making you look weird but once you add facial hair when editing your player it fixes that issue. I agree with community on this one, how is it taking so long to fix and why is it happening out of nowhere when past iterations weren’t this bad.

Garrett Crochet is the one that gets me the most what other aces in the game are just random dudes. This whole buy game in March and not have remotely finished product by June is pretty crazy, instead next week they’ll just update like Nick Sogard lol.

Wish I could be excited about the huge list of YANKEES, not one Red Sox player touched and it’s almost June, I’m not understanding why SDS is doing this. Oh man so when Kristian Campbell happens he will remain a CAP? Frustrating but worth starting a new franchise, weird how he was editable I don’t remember seeing that in past years rookies or any other rookies on the Sox this year.

A lot of guys updated still no Red Sox waiting on Crochet, Campbell, and Romy Gonzalez especially, here’s hoping next week then.

Well another Friday and still no Garrett Crochet or Kristian Campbell player model update, come on SDS. @SDS_JoeK_PSN, I see you respond on other threads, can you guys confirm these players are going to get edited Crochet’s model is a bummer, looks nothing like him and he’s the Ace. Hoping someone at SDS can acknowledge and roll it out sometime in the next few updates.

I didn’t mention him because I didn’t want any trolls to state the obvious he’s a rookie, but definitely looking all sorts of wrong, could also get Romy Gonzalez looking right too since we’re about to see tons of him with Casas blowing his knee out yesterday.

SDS, I started game up today hoping Garrett Crochet would be updated and literally he’s on front page with his new DD card with his actual real picture bald and with a beard, still you couldn’t update his player model while doing attributes? Why is one of the best pitchers in the game looking so terribly wrong? Could you please make Garrett Crochet’s update a priority on the next run, he’s been in the league 5 years, his player card in Franchise and DD have his actual picture so why isn’t that mirrored in his model. Please guys it’s May I played a franchise already looking at his hair and baby face when dude looks like a monster on his card and real life.

Dude, do you purposefully scroll thru here everyday to catch someone who asking about players that need updates and it just ruins your day. Stop replying to this guy’s posts, we’ve established you don’t care about realism and don’t play franchise we get it, well some of us do play franchise and when players that have been in the league for awhile still look like random made up people, it is lazy and takes away from the game we purchase to enjoy, just like you. The face scan argument is also ridiculous, are you trying to say they cannot update Garrett Crochet, guy is an ace and is looking so incredibly wrong, and they just roll same model out as last year with not a scrap of new commentary for him. We are not wanting the wheel reinvented, we would like more care and attention put into it and perhaps SDS could pretend that franchise players very much do exist and we are easily satisfied when the top players in each organization are updated more than tri-annually.

So it takes a face scan to have Garrett Crochet be bald with a beard in the game? Have you seen him, same guy from last year they did do anything but change his pitches? This is exactly what people are saying and all you do is defend the nonsense of having players in the league for years, plural, and still they can’t be remotely close to looking realistic or current, and Crochet is the ace and they have him so wrong. So many players not touched since last year it’s weird to have to wait for an update a month after release that may or may not fix our favorite player’s appearances. It is seriously the worst when you go to your favorite team, Red Sox for me, for the first time and see the new players, and I liken it to you expect a Starter pullover team jacket for Xmas only to unwrap a Logo 7 jacket of a team you don’t even like, I am stuck pitching with this weird imposter until SDS fixes it.

For real, and it’s not just in DD, I play franchise with dynamic difficulty and if you hit a few homers and get pushed to All-Star every pitcher is Roger Maddux, blowing you away with even low 90s and almost every pitch is perfectly placed. I don’t know what’s going on there is no consistency, I’ll be stuck on All-Star until they’ve dismantled me, get a runner on base then say goodbye, they tighten up harder than before. My pitching is on legend and they get cheap sometimes but I win a lot of low scoring games just hoping hitting goes back to veteran for even part of a game so I can enjoy the game for a minute. Not wanting nothing but gopher balls but would be great to have a pitcher live a little more in the zone so I’m not taking and chasing everything.
