Nope still there I omitted them because they have been the same now for 2 seasons

So a little more roster juggling required now to get all the rewards (and I’ll never get the sac flies), but otherwise a decent update.

Spent the first 7 games trying to manufacture sac flies. Ended up getting two. Kind of a dumb goal.

Well I mean at least 95% of the time you can play Madden online with minimal to no lag. That alone makes it a better online game. This game is hideous online and that’s being generous.

Madden has a bit of lag also. The only difference is that its not a game of milliseconds. I can play certain pals who have a good internet like myself and this game isnt too bad. Then I play my select few buddies with WI-FI and this game is garbage. I doubt any baseball game will ever get this right. Add to it I prefer sitting on my couch playing on my 70 inch TV as opposed to sitting in a corner on a tiny monitor.

If you check down detector its shut down everywhere. Although it is comical that the PSN server status page says evrything is up and running fine.

You are going to have all walks of life here. Guys with money and time to grind. Most of them are liars, but Im sure they exist. Not everyone who posts here is an amazing lawyer who works three hours a day and plays video games every other waking moment. Most rich dudes I know have bigger fish to catch than a video game. Then you have guys who pay. Or guys who grind. At least this game gives you options.

What determines who is a balanced or power hitter?

If the power and contact numbers are close, then they will be balanced. An easy way to check is R2 in the game and the bottom of the card will say power, balanced, or contact.

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think that is true. If you hold R2 and check that, it actually changes throughout the game. Not sure what the criteria is but I have noticed this b4 and made it a point to check every at-bat. And sure enough one time it will be contact under the card and the next it will say balanced under the same card. Or vice versa.

Against different armed pitchers Ive seen it change. Not against the same arm.

I believe the change is meant to impact high power guys more than the rest of the cards, it will still affect the low power guys but to a lesser extent.

It makes perfect sense because low power guys don’t get crazy exit velos that often, so the nerf is in proportion to what the card attributes bring to the user.

I mean the patch update says this will affect power hitters pretty clearly. Doesnt say anything else. My fear is that guys were loading up lineups with power hitters and using O. Now they can still do it with balanced guys. Some of those guys have better power numbers than some lower ranked "power hitters"

Last year I pulled Trout on fathers day (nice gift) and once again a day later. Besides that I have never pulled that card. Honestly this year I got Degrom and Arenado early on. Like the first two weeks. Those were my best pulls all year. I also got Tatis back when he was a mid 80s card. But I dont cout that. I also got a 94 Pedro Martinez which was a cool thing.

As a Sox fan Im sure you couldnt care less for the Cubs.....But how in the world is Kris Bryant an 82? Dudes arguably a top 3 player in baseball.

Early on I was getting a few Diamonds every couple days. For the last few weeks its been 0 diamonds for me until today. Got a Darvish. Although its funny myself and all three of my pals who play ALL got Darvish today. Its like hes a weekend exclusive.
