Be advised the show 2022 worked fine...this bug is from 2023 and now 2024

The same Bug from The Show 23 was copy pasted into 24...

Nintendo Switch Franchise Mode

If you customize your team, for example make a team logo, jersey logo anything place one drawing, change color of jersey, you can spend the whole day making a nice looking jersey...it's going to be fine and dandy till you jump into your first Franchise game...the screen will go black with an exclamation and the game will crash...

If you don't change anything on your Franchise uniform and leave it original mlb uniform the game will continue and you can play just fine, just not with custom uniforms...

I say it's unfortunate because the game is beautiful and basically perfect. I was really hoping they fixed it but I'm really bummed.

I urge all Franchise players to check this for themselves and then file a bug report maybe they can patch this if enough players complain.

Be advise this seems to be a nintendo switch problem, Im unaware if ps5, xbox have same problem.

@MrMet hell...I hope they fix this problem from 2023....if you try and customize teams on franchise mode the game crashes...it worked fine in 2022...I was hoping they fix it for 2024 ...is this whats happening to you?...

In 2023 you couldn't start a franchise game after customizing team uniforms and logo
The game would crash...this was a 2023 version issue, the 2022 version works fine...my question is, did they fix it for 2024?

The 2023 version was broken and you couldn't....I mean you could but once you went to the 1st calendar day the game crashed....

I'm pumped to buy the game I just don't want to have false expectations

At the start of a franchise there's 3 big boxes that you have to set to manual...that fixed it for me...what happens is that if you fast forward a day or 2 the cpu takes over...you change that at the screen prior to starting your franchise...I believe

I have a question for you....are you nintendo switch? If you are could you check if you can play a game in franchise mode with a custom uniform?

I check version 2022 and it works...the problem is on 2023 switch version

There's a bug that crashes the game when you customize uniforms or logo etc

Basically you can play franchise ok but the second you try and customize your team it goes to a black screen with an exclamation symbol and you have to restart everything

I sent a bug report hopefully they fix it for 2024 version of nintendo switch

@CBrev47 I just hope the bug that crashes franchise mode on the Nintendo switch is fixed for 2024...

When you customize uniforms or team logo in franchise mode the game will crash...

Basically if you play franchise on nintendo switch you can't customize uniforms or teams...it's probably a console specific problem

It's one of the best features of the game and it's broken for nintendo switch...

Franchise players on nintendo switch should file a report were getting cheated out of one of the coolest features in the game

1. It would be cool if they keep the stats of minor leagues in the player card for the player's entire career
2. I want to be able to customize uniforms and team logo in franchise mode for nintendo switch (it's broken)
3. A tab that I can compare batter vs pitcher lifetime stats, maybe in the in game manager tab...that way I can see how my player is doing against a certain pitcher and set up match-ups.
4. Instead of pictures of faces on the player's profiles I would like to have baseball cards similar to dd

@DaboiNoah if you have the same problem you should report the bug maybe if enough people complain they will make sure at least to fix it for 2024

Try creating a custom uniform and changing logos in franchise mode then come back here and tell me what happens...I wanna hear it from a fellow switch player

I like the new features in franchise mode...the main thing that worries me is the issue of customization of team logos and uniforms crashing the game on nintendo switch...did they fix this for 2024 version?

On Franchise mode nintendo switch when you customize your team it will crash the game I submitted a claim and receive notification in my email but don't know if they fixed it...hopefully the 2024 version is squared away...

The 2023 version of the show crashes when customizing uniforms and team logo etc in franchise mode...
After customizing teams you go to your calendar schedule first game and the screen goes black with an exclamation symbol and a text that reads "unable to load game" or something similar...
it seems to be ok in other platforms so it's a nintendo Switch issue....
I hope other franchise players try this out on the switch and report the bug since it's the only platform I use for mlb the show and I'm not planning on buying a next Gen console in the forseeable future

That's been my main issue, I only play franchise mode on Nintendo switch...when you create a custom team and mess with uniforms etc the game crashes...I really hope they fix this for 2024...it seems year after year they always find something to disappoint me, I still buy the freaking game just to find out the mode you like doesn't exist or it doesn't work...
