I was struggling to steal with guys like Biggio and Mantle for awhile. I felt like the AI would read my controller and always pitch out or slide step whenever I elected to steal. I overcame this by stealing in certain counts like 2-1 and 2-2. When you have 2 [censored], I've noticed that the AI doesn't pitch out nearly as often. I don't steal in 2-0, 3-0. or 3-1 counts because those are fastball counts and it just doesn't make sense to steal there. I also try to avoid stealing 0-0, 0-1, 0-2, 1-1, and 1-2 because it seems like the AI will pitch out quite often in those counts. My success rate went way up when I started stealing/not stealing in those counts. I'm still not perfect, but I'm much better than I was. Hope this helps.
