Last year was my first year and man was it a ton of fun! ( except for daily moments which I just avoided)

This year, though, the game is simply inconsistent.
For example in pitching, I can’t tell you the number of times I aim a fastball high and inside and the pitch is straight down the middle of the plate. MLB pitchers simply wouldn’t miss that far off.

In hitting, I can’t tell you the number of perfect/perfect with 100+ velocity that are outs. IMO, they should be hits. Homers? Maybe. Hits? Definitely. They happen so infrequently that you should be rewarded.

I can’t tell you the number of dumb base running decisions the CPU makes. Just now, max sherzer on second base tried to score on a routine fly ball to right!

Again, the gameplay is just inconsistent.

This year feels like “work” when I play. I spend more time yelling at my TV than cheering.

I’ve said this before, make the game on rookie easier! Take away the rewards. I’m fine with that. Most nights, I want to log in. Drink a beverage and hit homers. You’ve taken that away from me this year. By and large.

Or better yet, make the game so easy on rookie that I get tired of scoring so many runs and want to advance to the next level. Right now, the inconsistency are such that I don’t go above veteran. Encourage me thru my gameplay skills to want to play at higher levels.

Make the game harder in higher levels. Give them better rewards. I’m fine with that too. I don’t need nor expect to get every card.

This was my favorite game for the last 3 years. But the XP reduction, the 15-2 losses in conquest sims, and the silly moments have brought me to this point. There just isn't a game mode that is enjoyable anymore. I used to love grinding conquest for the rewards and XP. I loved playing RS, win or lose, because of the entertainment. I enjoyed Showdown last year, it was always challenging, but very rewarding.

All of the reward systems in the game have been removed. Now the game rewards those who want to XP glitch CPU games or RTTS. That's just not rewarding for me.

Good luck all, and I hope you enjoy the game! While I won't be back, I hope they fix it in the future so your time is rewarded.

good news, I'm back on the servers! I'm 0-0. So indeed I get to experience my first win again...and again...and again. For months, SDS is truly the best. thank you for the experience. While ground hog day was a great movie, I never thought I'd get to experience it first hand. That's the free DLC we all want and love.

And no contracts! I just downloaded NBA2K20 for free with PS Plus and have been dabbling with the MyTeam. Just like with EA on NHL and FIFA you buy a player and every now and then you have to buy contracts just to play with them. Thank God SDS just lets you play with the guys.

You have to bank on those packs being somewhere in the fifth inning. If they are in the conquest map, the prices I’ll drop dramatically. If they are in the stars reward, they will come down more slowly.

Pretty much a waste of time since I was just playing that mode to get the affinity points.

I had a Rays run in May, I'd competed everything else. Still a [censored] deal, people aren't using MTO to game the system...I promise.

SDS, I have decided that I am done with the game. When MLB guys complain the the game is too hard, you've gone too far. Hopefully future years will be fun, but this years game isn't it.

He's a pitcher. We always joked when I was playing baseball that pitchers were non-athletic. They can't hit either. Blake is the ace of my staff until I get Kluber or Newhouser. Can't figure out which one I want yet.

I ran into fielding issues. My pitcher did not catch a pop up, In the shift my Second baseman drop a line drive, it his arm. My shortstop Tatis, a ball went right though his glove on a hop. I was up 2-0 in an event game lost 3-2 cause of 3 errors. At dodger stadium not sure of other stadiums, if the first baseman is in to field a bunt he does not go to the bag to receive the throw for the out. It just goes to where he is standing and is called an out. Online is frustrating to play at this point. I am not that great of a hitter. I need some strikes called on the corners when pitching.
