The only thing you can adjust using analog hitting is your timing. You can't adjust the PCI.

I wholeheartedly agree with OP. Zone hitting has always had the advantage cause of user input but they’ve widened that gap, you can’t even compete now using directional. I’m coming off a 6 year hiatus so these changes are more apparent to me, although I’m well aware of the skills gap mantra. No you re not agreeing with the OP. his post was a year ago for TS 21, not this game that you are commenting on.

I know his post is from the last iteration of the Show but it still applies to this game.

"skillset" and "competitive" these buzzwords have led to video game activist. People think they deserve to hit .500 on this game and its hilarious. Middling users just think theyre better than they are.

I just played a few games since the latest update and it seemed better. For the record I don't expect every hit to be a homerun and unfortunately sometimes lag is expected during online game play. Some players' internet is not as good as others but sometimes it's the servers. With that said if I have 50 ab's with Acuna for example and I square up all 50 in the meaty part of the PCI with good or perfect contact and 3 result in homers and the rest result in routine fly outs or ground outs meanwhile my opponent does the opposite (pitches outside of the PCI) and hits 20 outta 50 resulting in homers that's a problem.

When you realize the PCI is the batters eye and not the barrel of the bat you will quit whining. When you line it up all youre doing is giving yourself the best roll of the odds.

I will assume it was removed because the "competitive" community abused it as an exploit. Thing is why would they screw the rest of the community? when i watch an MLB game i constantly see batters leave the box and at times practice their swing. The timing window to call a TO is a short one this year its geared towards the pitcher. A user can wait forever before throwing a pitch and you can't even leave the box.

why cant we have two modes one for the comp guys who feel aiming the batters eyes is a skillset and another for those who enjoy baseball. Check swings have also been ruined ratings don't factor in its all about how much pressure you apply to the swing button(user input). is this baseball or duck duck hunt
