@Jacob151167_XBL I refuse lol. I already have a job. You know, one where I'd be canned if I let this happen. I did a tech test one year, and it was nowhere near this bad. I won't even call this buggy because it's so much worse now. SDS is on the fast track to stooping below even EA's "standards."

Done for '27 for sure. We'll have GTA VI, and the economy won't be getting any better by '27's launch.

This wasn't just a free pack or two. You know, like when I watch everyone get packs by using codes which have never worked even 25% of the time for me. Everything this company touches is pure slop now. This was hundreds and even thousands of packs per person we're talking about here. Enough to affect the market in mass. SDS is running an unregulated casino. At least I have a gaming commission to go to in Vegas, and we all know how cheaters are dealt with there.

I haven't looked, but I do believe Sony's TOS were violated here (not just SDS's), so I don't see how this goes unaddressed. Anyway, if I put out anything like this slop at my job, I'm toast. That's the social contract. You can't keep breaking that and survive. My money is going elsewhere for now, even if they make this weekend's disaster "right" because there's so much more wrong with the game this year. Speaking of gambling, what's the over/under on how many more "glitches" are in the game rn?

And tag MLB, MLBPA, MiLB, Topps, SONY, Microsoft, Nintendo, etc.

There's got to be some licenses and rev sharing deals with multiple entities in place that will be up for renegotiation in the near future. Less active players and putting the spotlight on a significant glitch that probably resulted in a significant loss of their chunk of the revenue will affect those negotiations. Plus, what better time than now when the MLB and MLBPA are negotiating their new CBA?

I don't think so. I think there's a critical mass of unsatisfied customers now for sure. We're just divided on how to send a message to SDS (exploit a glitch, close our wallets, and my personal favorite, making a YT video as Robin Hood and Captain Save a Female Streamer and then yelling F ETHICS at the end lol). We need to stop the arguing and unite to get this company to finally move.

OMG, could you imagine if SDS found a Real 99 account took advantage of the glitch? I'd pay money to be in that situation room/Zoom.

I find the keyboard Robin Hoods way more funny than any "keyboard warriors." They say stop acting all high and mighty while literally acting all high and mighty for stealing from the big bad developer. And they encourage everyone to do the same. Amazing!

At risk of sounding like a broken record, just give out short bans, heck even a week long. It would just show some good will and let the market cool off a bit. It would at least mean SOMETHING.

Maybe create an awesome exchange for all those WBC mini seasons uniforms to reward the players who grinded the WBC program legitimately. I know that doesn't help players who didn't use that mode much, but at least it would be SOMETHING, and it would be a little dig @ YFK who thinks nobody could prove that he got his packs without the uniforms legitimately (LMAO).

Exactly. That's why I think it was the best course of action. Everyone gets SOMETHING, and we move on rather quickly. The silence is deafening.

My sunk cost is gone for '26, so I'll play as I want to without spending another dime. No '27 barring some miracle.
