yeah, I am hitting over 500 with him in at least 40 at bats. A lot of it helped with the Moonshot event but even in RS I had a two homer game with him the other day.

Not one that I can think of and have probably opened near 30

I’ve never tried quick counts and never want to. I enjoyed the last event and when I saw this one would be quick counts I refuse to play. That ain’t baseball...

yesterday I didn't like it, today it seems better. It always seems really different from one day to the next so it's hard telling.

I had never really felt bored playing this until today. Just taking a bit of a break. I'm sure I'll be back on again soon.

Not happened to me but I’ve experienced a handful if weird glitches similar to that.

I tell you what, I’ve never seen a circus quite like these games. My guess is that hitting was made extra easy to “make it more fun” but it’s literally impossible to pitch. Anything I throw remotely within the strike zone I have to hold my breath and just hope it doesn’t turn into a 468 ft dinger.

Timing always feels vastly different from one mode or day to the next.

I’ve had fun playing this game before, but when it’s constantly different like this it makes it hard to keep enjoying it. With that being said I’m sure I’ll keep playing for awhile but tbh I feel like I had more fun playing online when David Wright was on the cover...

Haha true, at least you actually get something out of it. Got an Adrian Gonzalez signed game cover, Brandon Phillips signed Reds jersey, and an Andrew McCutchen signed Pirates jersey. To name a few. That's why it's frustrating though when sometimes I feel like I can't hit to save my life. I guess just like in real life, hitting has it's ups and downs and slumps.

Sometimes when I play certain people, I seriously wonder how some of their stats with players are ridiculous. Like video game numbers....

Anyways, someone I played the other day in an event game was hitting .455 Matt Olson with 12 HR's. I guess you can all expect what the outcome of that AB was. Bomb.

I have played this game since 06 and have been an avid online player. I've won Challenge of the Week at least 5 different years so I would like to consider myself a pretty decent hitter. It just makes me wonder how it is so easy for some people. when half the time I still feel like I can't catch up to a fastball. Is it monitors? Is it settings? I'm just curious what you guys think.

Hung the [censored] out of an 0-2 slider that was perfectly released and resulted in a 2 run homer to Juan Soto. Lost the event game. Super frustrating when I buried it. Just hope that it goes both ways.

Just curious to see how common this is amongst you. I’ve played about 15-20 RS games and I’d say about 10 event games and have had Home Runs robbed from me twice.

Then when I attempt it when I am fielding, is it R1 or R2? Still never understand because I feel like I’ve hit R1 before and my fielder just dives instead of jumping Ugh.

Interesting that it would be inconceivable when I have played this game since 06 and have never had this issue...

I haven't posted about it yet but it is something I have noticed as well and has been beyond frustrating! On clear base hits they will freeze instead of advancing and then I get thrown out. It has affected me in showdowns and online play. Sometimes I use L1 and other times I use the left analog stick to select my runners and hit the corresponding button to send them to w/e base I want them to go to. Base running could definitely be improved in this game.

Would love to see his card in the game in his prime Marlins days.

That's the worst. Same thing happened to me as soon as I tied up the game and I got the L

Is there any way to see your opponent's W/L Record? It has always been blank for some reason on the website and it would be nice to know to get a good idea of the competition.

I’ve been playing the show ever since it came out and played online a ton over the years. Took a break for a few years from playing it as much but due to quarantine I have gotten back into it a lot.

Just had my opponent pull the plug right when I tied up the game and I get the loss? Hmmm.

Is this an exploit people have been using? Very disappointing. From my past experience, your opponent should get the loss when that happens.

I’ve played this game every year it has come out and I’m trying to invest more time in DD this year, but was wondering is it just me or does it seem a tad bit overwhelming?

Between events, battle royale, conquest, all of the different card groupings, etc. It’s like I don’t even know where to start.

What’s the best way to ease into it with a solid understanding? It’s like I don’t even know where to begin.
