Stuck on game 6 of the summer mini season, played it at least 4 or 5 times and wont get passed it. Thats pretty cool lol

When you start any mini-season scroll ahead and make sure 7 games show up if you see only 6 restart it until you see 7. Its just another wonderful bug SDS won't fix but at least it shows itself before you start but unfortunately most people don't know to check ahead.
Not defending SDS at all but I'm not sure what they can do aside from cone up with a new mode, which they did with Diamond Quest. How many years of conquest maps and how many new names of collections can they come up with? At the end of the day it's baseball and the names, outside of rookies, aren't going to change year to year so I think its naturally going to feel stale.
This week's content drop was pretty decent as far as stuff to do but I agree with mixing up the players better than they are. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, I think going back to the old TA model that made you unlock players starting at the common and grinding stats to earn the next level up. Also make some maps that requires some creativity in line ups with rewards for using certain cards. For example a NL east map that requires using only NL East cards.
A 95 Allen? Can't imagine it'll be much better than the 90. 2 Carltons, 2 Utleys, and now 2 Allen's? There are a handful of Phillies that could've been new.
The 1000 dollar commons will drop in price within a week but even spending a 1000 stubs to complete a collection is nothing compared to needing over 1,400,000 stubs or the blood of a Unicorn to obtain Judge and Ohtani.
Regardless of whether anyone believes OP or not the whole pack system is broken or more so pointless.
SDS gives us plenty of free packs but pulling gate keepers is obviously rare given the ridiculous prices of some and the pathetically low price of others . I get it SDS is all about making people buy stubs but here is something to chew on. I opened 35 earned packs today, regular and Ballin....I earned about 10,000 stubs from them. Thats about average. If I spent no stubs on anything else I would have to open over 4000 packs to afford Judge and Ohtani or one could spend $900 on stubs just to buy those 2 cards.....lol its just absolutely ridiculous and funny to think about.
Bottom line is 95% of the live series cards have no use in this game and as time goes on I'd estimate 75% of earned/unlocked cards have no use in the game. This makes the market a joke. Too many cards earn you nothing while making a few unattainable. If anyone has spent hundreds on stubs I'd love to know why.
The whole drop this past Friday was the epitome of how bad offline content is and what little thought they are putting towards offline gamers. Pakapalooza was just a "we've got nothing" drop that may have helped out some late comers and people who can't play as much but did nothing for the die hard offline player. I got 2 cards I didn't have the rest were all low barely above quick sell value.
Would it really have been that hard to keep TA alive? Add another 100,000

Maybe a player exchange
And give us another player to grind for 90 to 94. At least that would've given us something to do offline
It's been this way for a few years now. When 95% of the live series cards have absolutely no use in the game by the end of the first week of the games release, most cards will net you minimal stubs while driving up the price of the few seemingly unattainable ones.
This would be true for many games but not this years MLB the Show.

This was a [censored] poor release and it's been completely ignored and neglected by SDS.
People love this game and it's absolutely ok to complain out loud about it. I get it, all the complaints haven't motivated SDS but I promise silence or putting on a happy face sure as hell isn't going to motivate them either.
This game was already a huge disappointment for offline players this year, finding this out is an extra kick in the nads. Wish they'd revisit old TA models. I liked starting with common catd and having to work your way up to the diamond by grinding with them. There is zero thought put into this game this year.
My favorite is how many at bats see 3 pitches three feet off the plate and 3 pitches dotted perfectly to just catch a smidgen of the box for a strike. Imagine all MLB pitchers being that wild and perfect at the same time in almost every at bat. Totally unrealistic and ridiculous.
Took me 45 minutes....the rest of them 15 min combined. Moments are garbage because they rely on luck more than anything else and are a big time suck if your game play time is limited. Nothing worse than having 2 hits with one at bat left and getting walked.....
Did you read my post -- it's about the fact the uniforms are not right and they boston players look like they are in Yankee colors without logo's etc.

It isn't a bug....they are the vintage uniforms and they are Boston. It just so happens you mentioned a moment that is driving people nuts as well.
I got pretty lucky with the rest but 45 min on the 3 hit one and an hour to play a mode I just absolutely hate is insane. I had limited time yesterday before work and could've knocked out a conquest games or mini season games. I have always found moments to be a time suck that relies more on luck above anything else. I avoid them at all costs but in this case you have no choice.
Going 3 for 4 against that Clemens is killing me. Been at for 30 minutes and only have like 4 hits. Everything is a hard out.
In the single player Mural packs you earn I've pulled 4 Duke Snyders. At least they were free.

Do 9 inning games in a 7 game season on Rookie. For some reason 3 inning games are all 1-0 or really low scoring snooze fests but 9 innings you can put up a dozen + runs easy in almost every game. The XP is ridiculously low in everything offline though.
When a bug appears in this franchise it becomes an annual part of each release apparently

I was down 35 to 33 with only 5 outs left and a runner on first. I hit into a double play and immediately said I'm gonna lose and not try again. Two singles and HR from Springer was great relief and pushing me to get him from the mini season
