I won't be able to complete 2nd inning in time

Yep I’m in the same boat. I’ve slowly just learned to log in, complete what released and then step away. Being able to complete the XP path and acquire every card is officially a thing of the past. They realized they could make more money by making people buy the xp reward path bosses and tanking the odds on packs to beyond awful.

I’m going to play on and off this year since I’ve already bought the game and then I’m done for good. The game is now for online players only or people that want to live on the game non stop and/or buy a ton of stubs. Hoping enough people walk away that it craters the franchise and somebody else picks up the mlb license and runs with it. The sooner microtransactions go away for good and it’s seen for what it really is, gambling geared towards kids, the better.

Yup....I'm now casually playing and spending more time on Starfield. In thier grand greedy plan theu drove away a lot of people.

It's totally lack of content for offline players. I do not play online. I play every day. I've completed every program, mini seasons, showdown, conquest map, 2 diamond quests, and countless play vs CPU games and for the time in years I did not complete an XP program.....not only did I not complete it, I was well short. I can't imagine how short the casual gamer was. This a big kick in the nads by SDS.

  • The New Strike Zone Is A Disaster That Needs To Be Immediately Fixed!
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

So I'm seeing a mix of those saying it's broken some saying it's better. As with many sports games, they fix something for online and break something offline and vis-versa. Offline it's definitely screwed up. I'm striking out the CPU on balls outside the zone, not even touching a speck of the box, being called strikes every time. If you look at the pitch analysis that pitch that was fully out of the strike zone is showing half on the line. Pitches half on the line are showing inside the box. It's affecting hit aiming obviously as well. Sonething is screwed up.

  • Why is it so hard to complete the innings?
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I feel for everyone. It's definitely lack of content and no love for offline gamers. I play everyday and I play a lot and I'm still not done with the program. This past Friday's drop took nothing more than a few hours to complete and by Sunday there is nothing to do again. Repeatable conquest maps where only the final reward is available just doesn't cut it, a long grind through Diamond Quest ro MAYBE get the reward is garbage, and repeating mini seasons is boring. Oh not to mention TA has been done for weeks.

  • Cityscape mini seasons
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

This like all problems for years will just be ignored and become part of the annual release.

  • As an offline player, I get the hint
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I'm seeing a lot of posts in here arguing about this. As someone who has played this game annually I can say the offline content is less this year. It's definitely shorter and faster to complete which really gives the feel of nothing to do. People accusing others of being addicted or stupid, who are you to tell anyone what they enjoy. I like playing the game in general have something to grind towards makes it more fun. I'd be curious to know who spends more money on stubs the offline or online player. Seeing how the game prioritizes online play could be a hint but I have no idea.

  • What happened to offline content?
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I agree with so much here. I gave up on online a few years ago. It's to reliant on your connection to the server and its just to random with RNG, patience and timing are never really rewarded. I hate that you can't complete some collections or obtain certain cards unless you suffer the online play and the offline content seems minimal with not much thought put into it

  • Why are rookie and veteran so hard this year?!

Gave CPU a try. Definitely disappointed. With myself, guess. Could only muster 5 hits and one run in 9 innings on rookie! I can’t grind for TA by scratching out runs at that rate. They definitely changed the speed or something with rookie and veteran. I have a hard time believing that I have gotten so bad on the easiest level when just a month ago in MLBTS ‘25 I was scoring over 10 runs in 9 innings on veteran! It has to be what they have changed about these levels.

Silly question but are you sitting or playing at a different position than years past? New TV? I have to sit about 3 feet away eye level with the strike zone. If I'm too far or too close ot totally screws up my swing timing. I have to use a particular camera angle as well. Just spit balling to find a solution because I don't feel much has changed in the game so sonething might be throwing you off.

I can’t be the only one who noticed this. Making it somewhat different from one year to the next is fine, but these levels are too hard. My skills can’t have diminished this much in this short amount of time since ‘25. I’m swinging too late on rookie level all the time. I don’t mind finishing programs significantly later than the better players but this is just too restrictive. Hard to accumulate enough stats to complete TA in a reasonable amount of time at this rate. Maybe I am the only one. Anyone else out there who plays on veteran and rookie that is as frustrated as I am?

What are you playing in particular? It's my observation that rookie on 3 innings like Conquest and Mini Seasons will be wildly different than a play vs CPU 9 inning game on rookie. Now that you can customize mini seasons It's even more obvious. 3 inning mini season games on rookie I'm scoring 1 or 2 runs a game with 3 or 4 hits. 9 inning mini season games on rookie I'm putting up 15 to 25 runs 20+ hits. Great for Stat grinding. Try a play vs CPU 9 inning game at the Rockies on rookie and see if you notice a massive difference.

  • Editing Squad Freeze Still Exists in 26
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

    That still exists.

Conquest error when entering it exists.

    Blurred player cards exists.

Disappearing custom logos and uniforms still exist.

    Outfielders freezing momentarily still exists

First Basemen refusing to throw the ball still exists.

This release has so many old bugs and a splash of new ones that can assune will never be fixed.

  • Question for those who choose the Colorado Rockies stadium to play at
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I only choose Coors field or Shibe park for offline stat grinding. I find I get the fastest results there. I'm guessing the OP is talking about online though.

  • 80+ pack
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I gambled knowing it was stupid.

Jeremy Pena I needed but worth less than 4000

Will Smith I sold for under 4000

2 Golds sold for less than 1300
6 Golds quick sell 400 each.

So a value of less than 13000 for 40000

  • How lucky are your pack pulls?
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I've had decent luck this year including 2 Cals and 2 Acuna Jr. Made a cool 100,000 + on those dupes

  • Stuck in a moment….and you can’t get out of it
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

It seems the only way to beat that Correa moment is to normal swing (Contact he won't hit it past the warning track, Power the PCI shrinks to non existent) and hope you get a hanging slider. Brutal moment.

  • Stuck in a moment….and you can’t get out of it
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

Well the thread delivers but it still took like 20 more ABs ....that moment is brutal

  • Stuck in a moment….and you can’t get out of it
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

Carlos Correa HR moment....30+ and counting. Forget power swing the PCI is almost non existent.

"Predetermined" only in that the RNG happens before the animation plays.

I got the pack a day before I did it....

  • Anyone have this happen?
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

Yesterday I went in to open my earned packs and had a mystery Chase 4 pack in there that I didn't earn. Today I fired up the game and was greeted by the XP spin. I land on Diamond and get a Chase 4 pack.....there is nothing in my open packs. So was my mystery Chase 4 pack yesterday the one I hit today? How is that possuble? This raises the question if these things are predetermined, not chance, and really opens a rabbit hole....

  • Bo Bichette Moment
  • Ledfoot_19_PSNL Ledfoot_19_PSN

I got lucky on it and did it quick. If you don't get an Xtra Base Hit on the first at bat restart over and over or skip it. The program can be completed without it.

We do need to revive the "Stuck in a Moment and can't get out of it" thread because that [censored] was magic....
