I am able to use the market properly again. Really weird and strange. Still would like to know what happened!

What's weird is that market transactions are still happening on this card while it won't let me do a thing. This isn't fair.

EDIT: I can access the market on the app, but it's the same thing. Transactions still occurring in front of me while I can't do anything. It will let me cancel orders but not make new ones. Can someone please help?

Update: I closed the game and restarted my console because that always works, right? Wrong. This is The Show's fault. Can a dev address this please? @sds_joek_psn ?

It keeps happening where it connects just enough to let me into diamond dynasty, then to the market, where it STILL won't let me place an order. "A network communications error has occurred. Please check your connection."

My connection is fine. MLBTS, check YOUR connection please

My home wifi and console's connection to the internet is fine, but I keep losing connection to The Show Online.

Currently I'm trying to place a sell order on the market on console, but it's not even letting me do THAT.

Is this happening to anyone else right now?

@m_caraballo24_PSN I wholeheartedly agree. I don't even know how I was able to complete the first inning, but it was just barely. I didn't even get to do a random reward spin, lol.

Only 20k XP in the Witt program which isn't enough to get me to 500k (first time ever) so I'll just do something else tonight and save that for the weekend.

I know that the very last inning program will let us earn the bosses later... hopefully I'll have enough stubs saved up to get the other one when that happens. If I can't reach the boss this inning.

First time ever I haven't been able to complete an inning program. Man.

Some people just prefer not to play online against other players man.

...as an offline, NMS player with a job, it just isn't fair.

295,000 out of 500,000 xp. How am I supposed to come up with 200,000 xp in 3 days.

I've been grinding mini seasons (since that's the only productive thing to do as an offline player), and beginning this week, I've noticed a troubling trend with my offense. No matter how I configure my lineup, no matter how much time I spend in custom practice, or how patient I try to be in at-bats, EVERY at-bat feels like I have no control over the outcome.

I just hit a sweeper perfect-perfect up in the zone for a home run. Good timing and location.

The very next pitch is the same. Sweeper that hangs up in the zone. I crush it with good location and timing, and it's a flyout that isn't even close to the warning track.

Make it make SENSE! I don't know why, but I haven't struggled this badly in the WBC mini season until this week. All of my games have been ending within three runs. The ABS change is a small thing to me that is different this week. I wonder if it's the frame rate drops I experience in mini seasons too? Because this doesn't happen nearly as much in, say, conquest. Did they change anything else besides ABS?

All day it's flyout, lineout, infield lineout, diving catch, every infuriating way you could get out despite getting good contact. I feel that my patience and skills is going unrewarded, and my success is at the mercy of the game. I don't know what to do.

Anyone else feel this way or is experiencing this?

@mubby_33_PSN I prefer the traditional lineup approach:

1. Fast guy who gets on base #1
2. Fast guy who gets on base #2
3. Best hitter
4. Cleanup
5. Great hitter
6. Great hitter
7. Good hitter
8. Catcher
9. Guy who has meh hitting but has wheels and defense

Also I just so happen to have LS Seager! I'll consider him for the lineup.

I'm trying to figure out the best lineup for the WBC mini season specifically. I've been struggling offensively. Lot of lineouts and flyouts on good contact and good timing swings. It's so bad I'm wondering if it's rigged. And it's on rookie.

One thing's for sure I'm not trusting generate lineup again loooool. I'll test out y'all's suggestions and see if they work.

I don't want HOF to be more common offline LOL. I still haven't finished that New Threads mission to unlock Nimmo

I'm having trust issues with the "generate best squad" setting in the squad management menu. I seldom use it at all, because I flat out don't trust it when it comes to my offense. I wonder if I should more often? Or at least let it generate my squad, and then tweak it from there?

The one that really doesn't make sense to me is the Contributor Joc Pederson. Why is he on the bench? His fielding is only 44, his speed is in the 20s, and he has mid contact and power, only against righties. He has a Pinch Hitter quirk, but I don't think that justifies using a bench spot on him. Seriously questioning the game's judgement there.

Also, the order of the lineup doesn't make sense to me. Why is Ahn second? His hitting is good but Trout is liable to face a double play situation if he only manages a single. I don't know why it thinks 8th is a great place for Alonso—he has 3rd or cleanup written all over him.

I don't get the choice of Raleigh as a starter over Varitek either. I just played a game and went 0-4 with Raleigh. So much for being a cleanup hitter. I've been struggling with him lately.

I'm just like. Why does the game think this way? Do you all think this is a good lineup? How can I improve it from here if it isn't?

I talked about the lack of offline content a lot when I took the survey, so I'm waiting to see if they do anything about that. Only then will I believe they are listening.
