I just finished my last few giants strikeouts as well. Wonderful timing.

Perfect input should result in a pretty well located pitch. I don't have a problem with adjustments to make getting that perfect input more difficult. With pinpoint pitching it seems like they should easily be able to speed up the actions or have non-perfect input result in missing location by a larger amount than it currently does. I would assume they'll do this at some point...they couldn't just make it super difficult right away as this was a brand new feature and there was always going to be a learning curve.

The online market has been so bad today, i wonder if sds even realizes it's down...

I would be more upset with the HR's that come from PCI not even on the ball. bloop hits happen, and can happen consecutively. I get annoyed when a guy smokes a HR with the PCI not on the ball. I think part of it stems from how much pitcher confidence impacts the results. all the non-pci hr tend to be when pitcher confidence is low, but I can square up a ball against degrom in the 3rd inning and if his confidence is high it will probably be a rocket right at someone or inexplicably just be a 300 foot fly ball out.

It is quite obnoxious that they don't tell us how many parts an event is. I get the impression this one is a 1 part, getting 20 wins isn't terrible and the rest is for the grinders. It seems like a very easy plug into the "event info" section of the event.
This event has been tougher than normal for me as I think many casuals are sitting it out because HOF difficulty, it seems every game I'm facing someone with a 42-20 ranked seasons record and every game is a sweat. I have yet to get the guy that's 9-14 that swings at curves in the dirt every pitch.

After the Lester mission, what's the max possible earned for daily moments? Just checking to see if I missed any, I'm at 22.

Yeah those types of pitches aren't that tough to hit if you can time it right. If anything, it's way easier than it should be for trash PCI droppers to hit low offspeed, at least on all star difficulty. You really need to get that offspeed in the dirt or away enough that they can't pull it in the air or it's gone. If you're playing hall of fame difficulty or higher, those pitches are a bit tougher to hit if they are out of the zone...so you'll have to have a good eye and make sure it's in the zone. If it is, slider low and away is still pretty easy to rifle opposite field and changeup down and in basically you might as well put it on a tee.

Yeah this one wasn't super easy. I made perfect/perfect on a normal swing and Robles ran it down in the gap. I had to switch to power swings and eventually hit a HR down the left field line. Took I think 3 or 4 games.

i had 9 hits 6 of which were perfects, hit 4 homeruns scored 6 runs, guy im playing has 11 hits 10 of which pci was really bad positioned , I mean in fifa if you shoot 30 shots from really bad areas you might get lucky and get a goal, But 10/11 bad hits being rewarded not hitting a single homerun until it was bottom of 9th with 2 outs he hits a no doubter after going 0/4 to a ball buried in the dirt no doubt his pci was probally at the top of the strikezone , These guys just play in high elevation stadiums and swing at every pitch and get rewarded for it, Even in real life at coors field the balls goes deep but the players actually make contact its a shame SDS have made this game cater to bad players instead of making them get better at hitting, Constant contact swinging , Fouling 4 pitchs then getting a base hit is really not fun
I lost an event game where my pop had 7 hits, 2 were good timing and placement. I had 100 good good and 3 were hits. SDS does this so these casual allstar warriors don’t stop playing
The event games are quite the crapshoot, mostly because making contact is so easy. I'm pretty regularly in CS in the low-mid 800s in ranked, I'll play against kids that have around a .500 record in ranked seasons that swing at [censored] and sometimes are able to scrape together a run off bad contact(in events I admittedly usually play with scrub defenders so bloop hits should drop in more). Meanwhile I'll have 2 perfect/perfects go right at guys and miss enough on other stuff that they can get the 1-0 win. Hall of fame difficulty would help immensely with the skill gap allowing better players to win more. That said, events isn't really intended to be that competitive of a mode so it just kinda is what it is. The better player still usually does win on average. I probably win 8 of 10 against players I'm clearly better than and lose 8 of 10 against players that are clearly better than me.

Has anyone had a garbage player PCI drop on a low and away changeup 6 inches below and outside the zone get pulled for a HR by a silver player? I don't care if it's CJ Cron against a lefty, nobody can do that.
-
The moments really aren't that bad. There certainly are some tougher ones. The cpu throws pitches all over the strike zone, look for the pitch you hit best and wait for it. I personally try to look a little up and in for fastballs and react to hittable offspeed.
-
You can't really blame sds for people being idiots. I would like to think people get banned for stuff like that. I've seen some pretty cool created stadiums so far, haven't run into anything like you've noted thak goodness.

My opinion fwiw, he's good not great on HOF but basically a cheat code on legend if you make world series. I threw a perfect game with him earlier tonight actually. But in hall of fame I gave up a fair amount of hits with him to good players, and on all star he's probably not good at all because everything slows down and the pci is massive.

I don't understand why SDS can't look at a players overall record, and adjust their cumulative win total in events and ranked seasons based that number. It's a bit ridiculous that I have 23 ranked seasons wins and only hit 20 on the ranked seasons reward program. That should be such a stupid easy thing to fix, especially ranked seasons where the record is literally right there. And I assume I can't be the only one as I've seen plenty of posts about ranked seasons and event wins not counting.

The switch hitting catcher bothers me a little less, I'm a solid not spectacular player in this game but i couldn't do anything against this pitcher. I struck out in 3 pitches in every atbat and every pitch was in the zone.
And the R2 thing, a couple times he timed it just right that it basically interrupted my pinpoint pitching and i grooved 2 pitches down the middle that he hit for homers. he also had like at least 2 yuck bloop hits as well which was just unlucky. Honestly just a miserable experience, almost enough to make me not want to play ranked. This kid had almost 200 games of ranked seasons played plus clearly took a ton of time maxing out a created player, I take a little solace knowing that kid lives in mommies basement and has done nothing but play this game 12 hours a day since it's been out.
-
Why in the world is this allowed? I just had to face some kid with a left handed submarine pitcher that threw 100 and was basically impossible to hit. This kid also held R2 on literally every pitch and it attempted to much base running cheese. It was honestly a miserable experience and really a disheartening way to get my first loss in ranked seasons. If I lose straight up that's one thing, but to that loser kid is quite another.

With mullins make sure to heavily pull the ball, that wall in rf is I think 318 only. His took me the longest but I'm pretty sure I hit 2 hr and smashed one off the wall the time I completed it.

Im having issues in a couple areas related to base running. First, if I hit a ball into a gap for example... I'm unable to immediately tell the runner to go to 2nd. In previous versions, I could immediately drag over the left thumb stick and tell him to go 2nd or 3rd or whatever. I've made way too many outs because it's not working so I spam L1 and the runner starts going back to first before it registers for them to go to 2nd. I suspect this is an issue specific to me as I can't find posts on it.
Also when a player steals a base on me, the catcher animation to throw to the base doesn't load immediately, leading to the runner basically always being safe. I can tell this happens to some other players I play against but not everyone.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
