    The lack of punctuation here is making difficult to determine whether or not i agree with this topic.

    Allow me to try and translate with my opinion as I believe I understand the premise and reasoning.

    They did a really good thing this season with being able to grind team affinity in ranked Co-op, as well as stat missions in the ranked program.

    The main issue with this is because there are no lineup restrictions in Co-op, you have a subset of players who want to grind team affinity with friends playing with season 2 cards playing against the people using Co-op to have fun with their full 99 season 1 cards

    While I dont necessarily think those should be completely seperate queues, I definitely wouldnt mind seeing teams with season 2 style squads having a higher chance to match with other season 2 style squads, while still using the standard matchmaking score as a primary of course.

    It is pretty rough especially as a lower skilled player wanting to play with friends and still make progress throwing a team affinty squad against a full team of 99s.

    Yes, the announcement stated that ranked co-op would not have season restrictions.
    Ironically there are actually team affinity stat missions you can complete and grind in season 2 ranked Co-op (K's and Hits/Total bases) as opposed to just innings pitched in season one. Unfortunately unless you get lucky in matchmaking your throwing your team of core and season 2 players against everyones 99 season 1 squads so its a bit of a mixed bag.

    @Blind_Bleeder Actually you are wrong the same rewards arent available because they changed all reward packs into jellybean packs, which is significant if you are trying to get the 100 beans to get the spring chicken pack, considering its a 40,000 stub pack

    Pack availability is based on skill and time available, there are plenty of packs some people just wont have access to.

    As to the subject of conquest maps someone who started conquest today has access to all the packs. Looking at just the regular rewards not counting the hidden ones i can count 20 packs that I lost out on a chance to get Beans, if you count hidden packs that number is probably at least 30 to 35 add in other program rewards its probably around 50 packs total.
    Now suppose there is a 1 in 5 chance of a bean drop thats 10 beans who cares right? Those 10 beans are 10% of a 40,000 stub pack essentially 4000 stubs and thats just for a crappy part time player like me who hasnt actually even finished the conquests plenty of people got it even worse

    Packs arent that plentiful for everyone, most of the packs I have gotten are from conquest maps, and someone starting today could do all those conquest maps and earn the jelly bean packs instead because they changed all the packs.

    Since all show packs are now jellybean packs, any packs that were earned before today we lost out chances for jelly beans.

    Really ought to be some compensation based on drop rate for people who opened packs from conquest/other modes who are at a disadvantage now towards collecting dor the spring chicken pack exchange.


  • Strange controller issue on Xbox

    Have a bit of a weird issue load up the game and go through the menu with no issues, right up until the actual gameplay. Then once in an actual game i have no ability to do anything except pause and once I pause i cant move around options or even unpause. It almost seems like my controller is registering as controller 2 in this situation even though I only have 1 controller.
    I then have to restart the game in order to fix the issue, it probably happens 25% of the times I load the game, and this is the only game I have had this issue with.
    Anyone else had this issue? Or have any Idea I can try to fix it

    I was using the TA season 1 Keston Hiura and held a guy at first on a sure double so his contact wouldnt drop from 100+ to his 62 clutch rating lol

    Its not unlimited regardless because it is a timed program that expires.

    You have to do it in your Xbox settings or it doesnt allow it to save in the game, at least thats how it was last year.

    Based on this suggestion I am going to complain about the Giambi grand slam moment in the weekly wonders program, I have not had this much trouble with a moment this year it is ridonkulous.

    I find it kinda funny, I struggled with this showdown probably about 30 attempts all shut down by Gibson, finally got the other guy and got passed him, and being super worried going in against Chafin, but then 1st at bat hit a no doubter to beat him.

    And points have never carried over in the past.

    There are a few problems with that statement.

    How is a new player supposed to know that the points dont carry over, I've been playing since 21 and had no idea that was a thing.
    There is also the bigger issue of why they deem it necessary to deprive players of points they earn because they finish a mission available to them, or force them to not use a card they earned for an extra week, which is not a question I expect you too have an answer for, just pointing out that it's a really dumb pointless rule.

    If you did the math in week 1 where all the points are required, it is pretty fair to assume the continuous program will follow the same path throughout, a simple tooltip letting people know there are more points available than are required, and that points doints carry over as dumb as that rule is would take care of that issue.
