    Franchise sim/watch bug after game
  • KennyK73_PSNK KennyK73_PSN

This is just a silly bug, if you "Play Full Game" but don't pick a side so you can sim/watch, after the game exit you're immediately taken to the Calendar and if you hit back to return to the main Franchise menu hub you'll actually be taken back to the main menu of the game. If you turn on autosave after a game then you don't lose anything and you simply go back into Franchise mode to continue playing, just annoying.

  • Created stadium - pitcher camera angles in sim/watch mode
  • KennyK73_PSNK KennyK73_PSN

This is specifically for Franchise when using a created stadium. When you "Play Full Game" but then don't select a side, the pitcher camera angle is auto forced into Pitcher Center. If you select a side to play with, all your custom camera angles will work. But most of the time I just sim entire seasons, and then watch important games and watch the playoffs with the Broadcast style turned on.

I know this is a simple thing that doesn't seem like a big deal, just watch the game with Pitcher Center and deal with it, but seriously it bothers me to the point where I'm actually creating a post to get help fixing it. I've tried everything I can think of but once you unselect a team (even mid game where the camera angles are already correct) the pitcher camera always gets forced back to the created stadiums default camera of Pitcher Center.

So, anyway around this? Or anyways to force a created stadium to be "Pitcher" or one of my custom camera angles by default instead of Pitcher Center?

If not, PLEASE FIX THIS IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!... Thanks!

  • Editable Quirks on players in 26
  • KennyK73_PSNK KennyK73_PSN

YES! Please add this feature. Right now I know 2 dumb ways to do this. 1, you can go to edit rosters from the main menu and SOME players you are allowed to export. Then you can import that player into a roster, edit them down to whatever you want, name, age, etc. and they'll maintain the quirks from the exported player. HOWEVER, in '26 that player will only carry over into Franchise mode if you don't do a fantasy draft. For some reason my created pitcher at 59 overall and either D or F potential (yes I know that's cheap to push him down the fantasy draft to ensure I get him late round haha) didn't show up in the fantasy draft at all, and now he's gone from that Franchise mode.

2, you just edit any player in franchise mode to change them. Problem is, their contract, 40 man status, and worst of all historical stats will follow. So you lose any realism with that, plus you lose the original player that you're editing.

This seems like a no-brainer, super easy update that show just simply be in the game. If anyone ever reads this, just add it into the game please because it's super frustrating that this isn't allowed.

I'll even give you a corporate option that still works for me, make franchise quirks purchasable on the DD Marketplace, kind of like Sponsorships. Promote the idea of micro transactions to get the quirks. I know that's annoying, but at this point I'll take it. And for that matter, include a HOF Quirk and Sponsorship selection item with pre-orders in the future PLEASE! I guarantee more people play Franchise or any other mode than DD. I get it, DD is a money maker and you hype up the Twitch and YouTuber's to push for money, but at some point these easy fixes need to take priority for the real people that play the game.
