I don't even know what trying out new cards means lol

I tried joining several leagues for the first time but all 3 say "waiting for league to start" even though they have 4 teams.

I only play online ranked games but this year it seems like I can't get anyone to finish a game. Anyone else having that issue? What can I do to make sure I'm not playing against guys that'll quit if they get down a run or two?
