@Justianhael_PSN said in RTTS as a pitcher you get screwed:
K this is [censored]....7 starts in a row my team has scored 0 runs..in 7 [censored] games I've started this season not 1 run....[censored] this game
And welcome to rookie Greg Maddux's start to his career with a horrible Chicago Cubs franchise. Welcome to Steve Carlton's 1972 season where he won the pitching triple crown, and his 27 wins were nearly half of his teams total season victories (59).
You still haven't told us anything about the team's overall performance. Do they also play badly when other pitchers are on the mound? If they are just as bad as everyone else then you will have to endure until they improve, or you get a chance to go free agent.
I complain about a lot of stuff, but this is not something to be upset about. My player had multiple MVP seasons, made the playoffs, only to watch as despite me hitting extremely well, yet get bounced out of the playoffs in the first round.
When my contract ended, I looked at the team, saw they were in the early stages of a rebuild and decided I was at the point in my career where I didn't want to do that and signed with another team.
RTTS is really a game that is supposed to be about YOU. What you are doing. Yes, it's more fun when your team is winning, but at this point in your career you need to be focusing mainly on getting your player's skills buffed up.
If you put up great numbers on a terrible team then you will have no shortage of playoff contenders offering you contracts and you will see a better team on the field behind you.
