Okay I guess since everyone is giving their opinions on the matter...

1. The Astros cheated, there is no denying that

2. Their apology was one of the worst I've ever seen

3. The fans have made it 100% worse because a lot of them have managed to be condescending jerks about their team doing something blatantly wrong

4. It is, in fact a big deal, not because the Astros were good at it, but because they won with it, other teams didn't win and also stopped

5. This is not going away, we still talk about the Black Sox, Pete Rose, and the steroid era

6. There is this huge victim complex that the fans and players have that makes other people absolutely incapable of liking or forgiving them any time soon

7. Bringing other teams down to your level is not how you justify your own team's actions. What the Astros did was on a far larger scale than anything else we've seen in recent memory, there was not an equal scale like in the steroid era because everyone was doing it, it's just flat out cheating

8. Personally, to me, not being angry or embarrassed or upset at the situation shows where you are as a baseball fan. There's nothing wrong with being an Astros fan or a fan of a team, not being angry at a situation that made an absolute mockery of our sport shows that you are not a Baseball fan and you don't want what's best for the sport, you are a fan of a team, not the sport

Not to be a [censored] here but if they cut the pause time in half the more competitive people will complain and it will go back to normal. Also family takes precidence over video games everyday so you prob should be paying more attention to them than wondering why Good/Good = a lineout (not saying you do just a general example of complaints I've seen)

I'm going to be honest, I haven't spent a cent on the game but I'm pretty sure I have a better squad than this, also there's people who are nms with Mantle so there's that too

Do you understand how broken that would be? Fotf Ozzie Albies would suddenly be the most sought after card in the game and you'd be seeing silver Pedro Alvarez at 700+ rating, we don't see the lineups like this so the pitching doesn't get screwed

If you don't want to switch in all of your replacements against a lefty then learn to hit lefty lefty or get some switch hitters, setting a lineup against dominant arm would be asking for the pitcher's era to commit non-alive(don't hurt me mods)

I can't stress how bad of an idea this is, just carry a lineup that goes lefty righty 1-8 like everyone else does instead of trying to get a jump start by loading your lineup against a dominant hand

I personally believe the worst part of the Astros' response is that they're trying to play the victim card while very clearly not actually being sorry

You.dont pay much attention..Plays a mean RF, cant run on dude and will have another monster season if he goes into the season healthy..I'm a realist and baseball fan and if I had to start a team, Judge regardless..Way more top prospects and international players who play all over the infield..That corner in RF at that level both defensive and offensive is much more rare..Mad hate @ Yanks huh, only teams I can't stand(hate=toomuch energy) would be Muts(no typo) and Stros. No, releasing them throughout the year regulates how fast the cards can be attained, if some players grind through the whole year in 1 month and others are still using squads with golds on them it would be chaos. SDS has to release them with time locks because if they don't there will be a major gap in quality of team for almost every game you play until July or August

The beta man, I loved that thing so much that I almost considered emailing SDS about the possibility of them keeping it until 20 actually came out. I loved that thing, however, day one of 20 will probably end up having been the best game version we've seen this year

Not even joking I've dreamt of playing 20 before it was this bad because I miss it so much
