Start an Event game with a squad full of Giants batters to knock out a Daily.
Bottom of the 1st up 1-0 and the game freezes after I field a grounder to second and throw the batter out at first.
And of course my opponent is sitting here waiting for me to leave.
Was watching a streamer earlier when he popped up on my Facebook.
The streamer was thanking people for stars.
What are 'stars' and why/what happens when viewers send them?

As soon as I get signed on it gives me an Unhandled Server Exception Error.
Sign back in THREE times before I don't get the error.
First BR game it freezes. I leave. Get ANOTHER error. Get back in.
Second BR game gets to the screen where it shows both lineups and just stays there for about a few minutes.
Leave that by dashboarding.
Load the game back up and get ANOTHER server error.
Shut the game off.
How are we getting these server issues 9 months after the game was released?
And no, it's not my internet. Because I am online playing a differ et game and have no issues.
Can anyone at SDS please explain to me why EVERYTIME I end a game, online or offline, after I exit the Progress Screen I get disconnected from the servers and have to 'sign back in'?
And about half of the time the game I just played doesn't register.

Yeah. Thanks. I figured it out. I must've set the original difficulty to Veteran instead of All Star
Had to redo my settings for this game (hitting, pitching, fielding, etc) and I've now noticed that after I select a pitch a catcher's mitt pops up on the strike zone for a second or two.
I don't remember this happening before I reset my settings.
Anyone know how to remove this option?
An Event where instead if Remind Packs they just throw the past rewards on the path and have it end after 200 wins.

You would figure this late in the game people would want to just play a game and enjoy it….nope. Pause, pause, pause, pause. Next inning clock goes back up. Pause, pause, pause, pause.
I get giving people the benefit of the doubt with the time but I feel like the more they pause in an inning you should be penalized more. First pause takes off 20 seconds, 2nd 30, 3rd 40 and so on.
I’m fine with it if they are making a change or warming someone up in the ‘pen. And if you really have something to do, either quit or at least send a message explaining why.
And what if your opponent has messaging turned off?

It's hard enough to get your swing timing down from game to game with latency being an issue. Let alone jumping from All-Star to HOF to Legend and then back to one or the other. I think universal pitch speeds would benefit everyone.
Note that I'm not arguing how fast those universal pitch speeds should be, that's a whole separate debate. As long as they're equal across the board, that's all I care about.
But at what level do they set those pitch speeds?
If you set them at the speed they're at in All-Star; then you have die hards complaining that they're to slow. If you set they at a faster level, HOF, then you have casuals complaining that they can't catch up to a fastball.
Playing an Event game with all Golds as I need 3 of the remaining 4 RBIs with Gold players and a win with a Gold SP to complete my remaining two Dailies.
Bottom of the second up 2-0 bases loaded and I hit what should be a grand slam; but my POS opponent decided to dashboard mid flight.
Well, I figure at least I'll get the win and 2 of my 3 RBIs.
Nope, as soon as the game screen flips from the screen after they dashboard; I get a Server Error message and it make me sign back in.
All I do is select Diamond Dynasty and it lets me right in but there is NO record of the game that was just played.
Restarted the console and nothing.
Man, I can wait for this ti happen in 22.

You can still send a Friend Request if they have their messages turned off? How do you do that?
he meant he tried to send a friend request to the guy on PSN, to be able to message him, but he had that turned off. Not a friendly quit.
Yeah. I got that. But what I'm trying to figure out is if you can send a Friend Request yo someone that has messages off because when you pull up the player's name it states you can't message them.
I know how to manage that. Set your PS to record 5 minutes at all times. When the freeze-off starts, view your recorded gameplay and rewind a couple minutes and you can see the screen name that way. Don't ask me how I know
Nevermind I thought you were saying that once the game freezes, you can't see your opponent's name to be able to message them. I didn't consider the "messages turned off" element of the story at all.
Actually, if I start an online game I always take a screenshot with the console when they show roster screen. Or I pause the game and take a screenshot then.

Totally depends on online or offline. You can p1 a pitcher in one 9 inning game depending on how well you pitch and the amount of strikeouts online. So that's 500xp right there. There is so many factors that it's hard to say considering there is no details here.

I'd do the math myself but am not near my console to check out the points awarded.
Let's assume that I pitch a complete game shutout and get 15-17 Ks per game.

Does anyone know how many 9 Inn games it would take to parallel a starting pitcher from 0 (no stats) to P5?
