Please STOP with the "3 No Hit Inning" moments

You killed sellable rewards because 8 people cried about it. Listen to the hundreds of people complaining about this. 3 innings IS NOT a moment. It's a third of a game. At least let us raise the difficulty. The CPU on rookie/veteran is an RNG nightmare.

  • Inning Program from ‘22 and previous years was perfect

A one month grind with a choice of cards significantly better than what was available. The timeframe was perfect. Enough time to get it finished but not stretched out over several months leading to apathy. Sellable rewards giving motivation to complete the program even if the cards were not of interest. Few if any complained about the content structure prior to ‘23. Why the change? Now the best cards are locked behind collections (or packs). Most of the cards released in regular content are just collection filler (Topps Now). The XP path is sooo long and XP is rewarded at a trickle the end goals don’t even seem attainable. And even when they are finally achieved we will have weeks to use them. Then we must grind more XP for “wild card” slots to continue using them while losing all the other non core cards. I lost interest in ‘23 over the summer. I’ve already lost interest in ‘24.

Please go back to the old content structure. Make meaningful collections based on card types like we used to have. Stop taking my cards away. Give me a reason to play. Right now, it’s not fun and I don’t have a reason.

It's amazing how the cpu guys go down 0-2 then won't swing at 3 straight pitches on the black (which are magically called [censored] by the umpire). Then bloop a hit just over the infielder's head. This game has gotten so repetitive and stale.

  • I am at 70K XP worth continuing?

This post and some of the replies are the biggest problem with this “trickle” xp progression mode. People lose interest extremely fast and/or fall behind and see no light at the end of the tunnel. The model is fine for daily players. The casuals are gonna fall off the ship before the AS break this year. If you want to put the breaks on progression, fine have a month long xp path that doesn’t even have the 99s. Put them in the 3rd months path. Seeing how far away they are and falling behind will just deter casuals. The monthly inning boss program was perfect. No one complained about it. If you fell behind you could buy the cards or just grind the next month.
