moments u can't bring a starter out of pen. For example all timers program

I’ve never not been able to bring a starter in from the pen for a ranked Game

This is one of the inherent issues with the game. Pitch speeds should not differ based on what mode you play. All star should be all star and Hof should be Hof regardless of the modes. There’s so much switching around of pitch speeds in moments, RS, Showdowns, etc, not to mention the wonky timing windows. It’s bizarre they would choose this path. Just no consistency to speak of.

I have my CAP at catcher. Currently only an 85 and is by far my most consistent hitter. You could always move Biggio to 2nd.

Showdown doesn’t count. I had 3 good/squared outs with chipper in my first run through on showdown on rookie and veteran. There’s no rules in showdown.

They can play wherever they want as long as the game doesn’t put my input into a blender and dumps out a random result.

Tom Glavine pitched 6 innings with 12 strikeouts. 1 hit. His pitch count was 76. First batter in the 7th inning I deliver a change-up a foot low (he hadn't touched one the entire game). I had perfect pitch.. This time the AI animation decides to show the pitch in the center of the plate. Of course, he blasts it into next week.

So now when the really strange AI controlled stuff starts happening I just set the controller down and let the Mercy Rule play out. Figure it's probably good for my opponent who has also been hosed by the clown software and the clown's that write it. Let them pad their batting stats, complete those programs quicker and what not.

Sometimes it's how you cope with a game that is so far off the rails it defies all the rules.
