A fix that worked for me was inviting via playstation’s quick menu. I’m on ps5 and if you go to game base on PS menu then click on the friend you want to join, you can click the little square with a controller logo in the middle and it allows you to invite to co-op in that menu.

Absolutely the only fix. Restoring licenses worked once but this way is the best way by far.

Unfortunately that won't work to invite friends on other consoles though

None found yet. There's a couple of other threads here about it happening to others since the update https://forums.theshow.com/topic/63835/friends-list-disappeared

I've tried so many things to fix this today and nothing works. It may be the update. I'm on PS5 and I'm using cross progression.

Mine is doing this as well. I have no idea why it's happening.

Its currently broken along with people not seeing their friends list in game anymore. Not sure when it'll be back.
