I am submitting a feature request to update the Two-Way Player logic in Road to the Show to accurately reflect official MLB rules regarding position players pitching. Currently, the game engine forces a strict separation of roles for a Two-Way Closer. Instead of allowing you to do both in a single game, the system forces you to play some days strictly as a hitter and other days strictly as a closer, but never both at the same time. Under real MLB rules, a manager can start a player in the field (or as a DH) and move them directly to the mound to close out the game in the 9th inning. I would love to see future editions of MLB The Show expand the "Ohtani Rule" mechanics to bullpen roles. Allowing us to play a full game as a position player and seamlessly trigger a mid-game pitching appearance in a high-leverage 9th-inning save situation would massively improve immersion and open up true flexibility for custom two-way builds.
