If you get a 3-1 or 3-2 count just walk the batter and face the next guy and so on. I walked 2 straight after my first 2 SO’s and I k’d the next batter.

I kind of agree. Seems like people who feel like they should get every moment done on the very first attempt and the every pitcher should throw straight down the middle on every pitch.

Imagine how much these people would cry if they brought back moments extreme.

Yeah, but I would say just use normal pitchers for moments. BP pitchers are only throwing like 20-30% strikes. SDS should be able to code to at LEAST grove them down the middle if you are going to go with 'BP Pitcher'...if not, again just use normal pitchers

I mean, they could have put Papi in Jackie's spot. It will most likely(like 99%) be a free and extremely easy to acquire card. Frank is quite literally the most boring 1B to use ever year to me too. I only put him in anymore because he is relatively close to P5

I was able to get Judge off of the market cause he dropped down to 70k. Finished my Yankees and the AL east for me

What might help is the choice pack of 90+ diamonds like last year. You got 5 choices I believe. If it was going to be implemented however it would have already happened so my guess is we are out of luck until at least the next flash sale.

Where did I do any wrong math? The packs literally say CHOOSE ONE PLAYER on them. Obviously if there's 3 rounds of that per pack then that answers what I was missing. But math has nothing to do with it, smart [censored]

I hate to 'pick at that scab' but yes while the pack does say Choose 1 (if you just view it on the Reward Path) but if you hit Triangle, or whatever it is on XBox, the description tells you that you get to choose one from each of three rounds.

They're just the Diamond equivalent of the ones from the first program.

Did they change the packs to flashback and legends from br rewind? I swear it was a bronze, silver and gold br pack. Did I miss something?

I guarantee atleast one of those packs will be in the new program reward path and maybe in a new conquest map. I'm waiting for sure. At 18k for the lower tier cards it's worth the gamble to buy the pack from the store which I also think they re-release tomorrow also.

But I think they either need to cap reliever's overall, or be strict about who can slot at long relief, middle relief, and setup (I understand they don't have the cards to support this at the moment).

Don't be an elitist loser, first of all. There are better ways to express your opinion. But to address your childish point, you do realize it would affect your opponents too? I'm not saying JUST YOU has to suffer. So you'd sacrifice a few 99s, the opponent would sacrifice a few 99s, and then whoever gets to the other's starter earlier would have an advantage. Which would be a lot more fun.

Also, it doesn't have to be a cap. If they planned it properly they could have a lot more relief pitchers, like King, and these could be part of your grind just the same. Instead of having infinite 99 closers have some setup guys maxed at 96 and some middle/long relief maxed at 94. It's all relative so they'd be just as valuable.

Nope horrific idea. That's what events are for. BR is a draft. Events are your squad with limitations. RS is your best squad.

I don't buy into that generally. The cards are going to play to their stats, modified by my performance, but that's equal across them all. I'm going to play better with the better card.

That being said, these cards are [censored] close. Carter has far better contact L, Power L & R, and elite vision. He also has a good bit more speed. But his contact R is seriously lacking, his defense is slightly worse, and Adley switch hits. I think if Adley didn't switch or Carter had like 85 contact R it would be a much easier decision.

I don’t agree with that line of thinking. You can have a card with amazing attributes that you just can’t hit with and vice versa. My best hitter this year so far is FOTF Devers and I have plenty of cards on my team with better attributes.

I really haven’t used Carter this year, but I’d choose the Adley card over him any day. Has a good swing and being a switch hitter makes him even more valuable.

I disagree. I'm not particularly great at the game but I've been playing since 08 and I've NEVER noticed some crappy player having a "great swing" or anything of the sort. Over time with enough at bats the cards will play to their attributes. It is different with different users. For example a card with very low vision could be unusable for a bad player and mash with someone who's very skilled with the PCI. But given the same user, cards will eventually play to their attributes.

And I think you're just underselling Devers. I got P5 with him a long time ago, well over 100 HRs. At P4 you're looking at 93 contact R and 110 power R, with plus vision. I'm not sure you have "plenty of cards" that are better than him. It really doesn't even get much better at all. Even if you had 125 contact and 125 power that could take some time to be clearly ahead of 93/110. It wouldn't be that absurd for Devers to outperform him over 50 or even 100 at bats or more. That wouldn't mean that 125 guy has a bad swing or Raffy had a great swing or that YOU personally are better or worse with one or the other, that's just how statistics work.

I am not good with PPP but am getting better. I just started a couple weeks ago. Long time meter user that was tired of missing by a hair and watching my pitch go right down the middle. With PPP I can draw clown faces and the pitch still goes in the area I wanted it.
