You can collect it for another unsellable useless card and then you can wait for them to release the exact same card in the next set or you can just not waste your time with online play at all and use the cards you spent hour’s mindlessly grinding in mini season’s or conquest. I guess I'd just say if it's mindless for you, you aren't having fun. There are thousands of PS games out there, and 3 or 4 Xbox games depending on your console. Go play something else, no worries man. No, it’s mindless for anyone with critical thinking skills, ya’ll got 2ked and your ignorance and SDS Stockholm syndrome have taken over. Enjoy grinding 82 moments for a head start on a monthly award you cant use in October, but guess what? all those cards you refused to see sunlight for…they are all going to be in chase packs with new card art, just waiting for you to buy up so you can play ranked. lol dude you sound absolutely angry - like a very angry dude on the internet hypothesizing over things which mean nothing - there are plenty of us who are very relaxed, enjoy this game, and don't need to put on tin foil hats because of X problem or X problem - learn to enjoy what you have, and frankly - if you despise the game so much why are you on here all the time in this forum? if i hate cheese, i am not going to be a part of the Cheese Members Guild - do you know what i am saying? I haven’t been on here in a month, so all the time? Bit of a stretch, don’t want to accept the downward spiral of this game?…that’s fine, just don’t tell me this is a great game because it is not. That’s not a tin foil hat response and not a single one of my posts have been anywhere near that. Enjoy grinding for nothing but don’t ever tell me this is a good game, EA and 2K are micro transaction heavy but at least they don’t try to hide it.

I completely understand. The majority of the community prefers to wait until mid October to get 99 Griffey and Ruth. The fact that we get the cards when we purchase the game is total insanity. Imagine if GTA5 gave us the entire story on launch, it just defies logic. What 99 Griffey did you get thats going to get you past July? you’re not very smart are you? If the goal is to keep the casual community (like yourself) around past the Madden release, you don’t make them grind senselessly for a card they can’t even use up until the madden release. Want to remind him that he can only use one next season or should I? ‍️ Dude it’s bananas that you’re an active member of the forum, the game has been out over a month and the set/season guidelines are literally on the homepage of the video game You can use set 1 cards in season 1 and season 2 So he can use the set 1 cards everyone told him to waste his stubs on after july 7th? Oh wait he can’t?, there’s only 3-4 core cards that can be used year round so its best he wastes his stubs on set 1 cards? I have read the set guidelines, thus why i refuse to waste over a month grinding for useless cards, in fact there is no point in grinding at all because they are going to give everyone 99’s every set and probably of the exact same cards you mindlessly grinded in the previous set. It’s hard to believe you are a functioning human being if you can’t see the simple logic trying to be explained here.

Conquest maps used to be loaded with stuff to open upon completion....just seems much, much less this year. I get it, this years game is geared towards those who can grind like its a full time job. They won’t, but that is the beauty of spending the money you would give SDS on going to an actual baseball game. The money I would usually spend on completing collections is now going to actual games.

Sure i love my team but it's going to get so repetitive if we keep seeing the same players over 6 sets. Oh you will, and you’re either going to have to grind for them, flip for them or buy them…best way to destroy what made your game popular.

Personally I loathe opening packs. It’s just so unrewarding to open packs knowing you’re gonna get garbage binder filler. I don’t even get excited when a diamond appears because I know most likely it’s a low level 85. It’s awesome that they give us free packs but frankly, it’s just not that interesting. By no means am I complaining about free packs but opening them simply to complete the live series collection just isn’t that fun. I’d love to pull players I can actually use in game. You’re playing an ultimate team mode that has many aspects of EA and 2K ultimate team modes, they aren’t going to give you boosted packs unfortunately. They gave you 99’s at launch that you won’t be able to use in 2.5 months and will be replaced with slightly more juiced 99’s of the same player with different card art. Proper micro transaction model and almost identical to the 2k model.

All of them, because until you reach HoF/Legend it still doesn’t matter who you use, or in other words, any of the 99’s they have released within a month of launch.
