While suffering through my last two RS games in which i gave up 38 hits (yes, in just two games), I started realizing that the green zone in meter pitching is almost a guaranteed gopher ball. I've never been comfortable with the other styles of pitching, but have never really struggled like this with meter. Doesn't matter who I use, same story. If I'm trying to throw a pitch down and away and hit green, the ball ends up [censored] near down the middle. If I'm slightly early or slightly late, the pitch has a MUCH better chance of going where I intend for it to go. So I ask, what's the point of green in meter pitching?
