What I actually wish they’d do is a mini-season with the MLB teams. Not juiced teams. Just the regular 26-man roster MLB teams.

First, it is important to note that even with this method, there is still RNG involved in some aspects of Diamond Quest that can’t be avoided. This mainly includes the number and type of moments or mini bosses that appear, the die rolls, and the random rewards/consequences. The only guarantee is that winning a stadium game will get you a standard pack and losing a stadium game gets you nothing (except earned XP and PxP).
The easiest, most straightforward way to grind is to play the White Sox/Phillies DQ and just “beeline” it to the stadiums, forfeiting every moment and mini-boss situation that arises, and then playing the games on Rookie. It takes 9-moves to get to the White Sox stadium and then another 11 to get to the Phillies stadium (you go around the sweeper). Doing this will result in roughly a 10% (give or take depending on the number of skipped challenges) of also winning a ballin’ pack if you win the stadium game. This method takes a little less than 30 minutes to play the two games, and thus, 4 standard packs can be earned per hour, plus a small percentage (I’d say about 30% on average) of getting at least one ballin’ pack.
However, for a little bit higher of a percentage to gain ballin’ packs, while also grinding PxP and standards. I actually recommend the following method:
First, create two squads. One squad will be your actual PxP grinding squad (parallels, TA missions, whatever you are grinding for). The other squad is your squad used for moments with the DQ. Set that squad as follows:
• Your 7th batter needs to be your best, most comfortable batter, and especially against right handed pitching. This appears to be the most used batter in “major” hitting moments. Dodgers TA Muncy is PERFECT for this spot if you like hitting with him. However, his vision (only 50) might cause issues for some people.
• Your lead off guy needs to be a fast player who can steal bases and with decent hitting (not excellent) and again, be able to hit mainly right handers. If you’re fortunate enough to have him, live Elly De La Cruz is perfect for this spot. Although, his vision (37) is even worse than Muncy’s! So, for some, this can lead to issues.
• Whoever your remaining best hitter is (again.. against righties), put as your #4 hitter.
• Make your #3, #6, and #9 hitters fast players (stealing optional).
• Fill in your #2, #5, and #8 players with batters you like hitting with (mainly against righties… are you sensing a theme?) that also allow you to have no out of position players on the field.
• Your SP can all be used randomly for missions, so make them all good strikeout pitchers you like using.
• LRP and CP are the only relief guys used. Make sure they are also really good strikeout pitchers.Once you’ve made both squads, you’re ready to go grind DQ.
Make sure you have your DQ squad set as your squad, and go to the White Sox/Phillies DQ. Do the same method as before (beelining to the White Sox stadium), forfeiting minibosses, but this time, you will play the moments. The moments will add an extra few minutes to your overall grind per stadium, but they should be easy(er) to beat with the DQ squad we set up. When you get to the square right the White Sox stadium, do any challenge on that square (or skip it), and then save an exit.
Go to your squads and set your squad to the PxP squad, and then go back to the DQ and continue the same quest. Go to the White Sox stadium and win that game. You can either choose to continue the quest or call it good at that point. If you choose to call it good, and you want to then run the same process again, just start start over.
If you decide to move onto the Phillies stadium, save and exit, load your DQ squad, go back to DQ and get right next to the Phillies stadium (avoiding the sweeper again). Do, or skip, any challenge on that square, save/exit/load PxP squad, and go back to DQ and beat the Phillies.
If you choose this method, in an hour (slightly longer) you can earn around 8 bronze packs (don’t blow those off right now; plenty of high-ish selling bronzes and silvers!), you should also have about a 65% chance of earning at least one ballin pack, and of course, the four standard packs (not to mention a small, albeit a non-zero chance of getting the epic Crochett or Stott cards as well!).
Some other strategies:
• If you get a ballin’ pack with the White Sox, end the DQ! You already got a 100% chance of getting it, so don’t risk losing it by playing the Phillies! Same goes for the Crochett card. If you get it, quit! Take the rewards! You can sell the Crochett card.
• Play the White Sox on All-Star if you have a few positive perks you feel comfortable with. It increases the Ballin’ pack rate by as much as possibly 10%.
• Play The Phillies on Veteran for the same reason.
• Start your #4 pitcher against the White Sox. It forces them to start Davis Martin. The dude hangs every breaking pitch, and his fastball is pretty hittable. His pitches outside the zone are usually very recognizable right away.
• Start your #2 pitcher against the Phillies. This forces them to start Aaron Nola. While not as easy to hit as Martin, for a #2, he isn’t very scary.Hopefully this all makes sense, and some of you find this helpful! Please add more to the strategies/tips as you all see fit!

- Being able to restart a moment while the ball is in play. This should save me loads of time when grinding moments since I don't have to wait for a dead ball.
Biggest win of the game so far.

Remember when everyone said CFB 25 was going to bring the death of MLB the Show… then it was released… and we all found out really quickly EA still sucks too?
SDS listens more to its player base each year than EA has in its entire history.
MLB the Show isn’t perfect, but when comparing the Apples and Oranges of SDS’s products to EA sports’, the SDS apples are light years ahead of EA’s oranges.

I have been VERY fortunate with the board. So don’t use me as a good base. Got diamonds twice and on one of the gold WBC packs I got the rare set choice. Besides that, though, it’s been all silver rewards. Although in the packs I’ve gotten a Few low-end live diamonds.
Not gonna lie, I love the wheel.

That’s the beauty of the market: your gain is not my priority.

So is the solution to go back in ‘24, fix the elevation on a saved stadium to under 3,000, re-upload and then try downloading that?
No. I tried that. Right now there is no solution. They messed up something programmatically with how stadium info is saved and/or read. You can sort of see it when you look at the info.
The elevation is showing the capacity, and the capacity is showing some other random piece of stored data (based on the number, I’d suspect a sort of stadium ID). The information is all there, but it’s now being read or stored incorrectly (I.e. the wrong location in the stadium file).
I am hopeful this is an easy fix, and that with the next update (tomorrow morning?) they get it straightened out.
I do find it odd that a Dev needs someone to describe these issues in detail when it’s clearly happening to everyone. Like… Just do it yourself and you’ll see exactly what’s happening.

Egg 1 is the moments (you have to go to moments from the main screen, not DD programs).
-
Really? Why? You’ll get enough packs from doing other things that you’ll get your jelly beans soon enough. I open every pack as soon as I get them, and I’ve already gotten eight jellybeans in packs earned just today.
-
Yeah, he definitely got the pack, opened it, and then got the animation after logging in. Happens all the time (which is frustrating, but at least it gives the award).
Bet he wasn’t complaining when he had a “mystery” Chase pack in his inventory before recording.

- Make it WAY more public when codes are being released
- Do not limit them in any way (region, time, etc)
- Make sure all accounts are eligible to get one.

@BiigD008_XBL True, but it was the easiest extreme program ever.

Clearly you all who are still complaining just skipped through the post explaining this (mine) in order to keep complaining that it’s “too long”. It’s only “long” if you think of it as “season 1”, when clearly this is meant to be an entire years’ worth. Captains (Jolt cards) for each team should be the goal. I accidentally got two of them just doing other things. It takes hardly any time to get them if you focus on them. The start here mission, getting the IP and strikeouts stats, combined with the PxP of the silver and gold rewards for each team gets you there. Maybe a couple hours per team. Spread that out a month, it’s a few weekends maybe? You know… roughly the same amount of time the normal “season 1” would take.
TL;DR - quit looking at the 350000 TA goal; that’s for the entire year. Aim for the captains.

I have a valid question here why do offline players like myself gets treated like differently when it comes to getting actual valid help but yet get either ignored or treated differently just because everyone thinks online is more important than the offline players I mainly play only franchise mode cause I really don't like playing online cause of what happened to me and most likely others as well as for me I got hacked playing my GTA 5 on PC and Xbox one and Xbox 360 and playing Madden as well other sports games cause that's what I normally play but anyways why the treatment towards players like myself who mainly play offline only so with that said so players like myself not allowed any help at all?
Not sure. But for future posts; please use punctuation and paragraphs.
No offense. Just makes it easier to read.
Wow so there the policing of a posts now smdh and yet this doesn't answer anything of my questions this is why I asked this question and don't say go to franchise cause the questions I ask are general questions that I would like answers to not be policed over how I write a post and FYI I can only do so much with a broken screen on my phone
I think you’ll get more help if you use better sentence structure. It’s hard to follow along when it’s one big jumbled mess like what’s above.

Where are you getting this “it’s actually an 88” business from? Nothing you have said in this entire thread has made any mathematical sense…
-
The beauty of the market is this: my personal benefit is neither dependent upon nor decided by yours.
-
When I go to my squad, click on Bobby Witt, then turn the filters to show only 88 or below players, there isn’t a player I own in the 88 range that has attributes anywhere close to Bobby Witt’s… Buxton ALMOST has stats that good, but I have him paralleled to V.
When I limit it to shortstops, but increase the attributes to include all ranges again, Aurilia is the only one that come close. But he’s 93 overall, so that makes sense.
Now, am I saying that Witt will make it into the meta of the game? No. Because honestly, I have never understood the meta of the game for a decade. But this “he’s equivalent to an 88” nonsense has to stop.

Some people like to talk [censored] on this game just for the sake of talking [censored]. The game has its flaws, but the power creep this year was real. Saying otherwise is just disingenuous.
