Spend 90% of my week grinding for new cards and only 10% playing ranked with those new cards.

Decided this year to not do that. I’m only grinding the monthly’s which isn’t so bad this year

To get the massive 99s I got no chance. And have no desire too. I’m not a fan of this route with the sets being locked in. It’s, just like Fifa causing everyone to pretty much get the same team early doors.

Blows my mind how people are able to play against the cpu for ungodly amount of hours just to obtain cards or buy stubs to rip packs and buy theses 99s. I’ll get bored of playing the cpu after a couple games

I'd say it is probably because people have different ideas of what fun is and also have different ways of how they have fun with this game. People play the game for different reasons just like some people play DD and some play other modes exclusively. If your mind is blown by such a simple concept, I feel bad for you!

I got the best idea for the next event.. all 97+ diamond pitchers only against all common batters. Call it the dead ball era. See who’s actually any good at this game this way

Nah. I think the harder it is to get these 99 cards then better. Nothing should be a given and easy even though majority people I face online somehow already have all these 99s. I’ve tried this showdown luis Castillo and I have trouble passing the 3rd one. Idk how ppl complete these things. The first two are easy but after that I cant

It’s literally a HR with any 99 overall card in this game so….

Probably not. Unless you aren’t going to do anything with the stubs then why not right. If you don’t lock him in I doubt he goes much lower than 200k so you can always try him out and sell him back I guess. That low vision definitely iffy.

If you do the showdown he will show up sometimes so you can always check him out there somewhat.

Ya that low vision def iffy bruhhh.. he’s gotta have every stat 120+ or im not gonna use him. I’ll go drop some cash but stubs and just buy the next 99 player they drop next week. If the star ain’t 120+ then it’s practically useless at this point and the game came out a few weeks ago so no gracias on that low visions bruhh

I hit well with his card last year but he has no quirks, (I like quirks lol)...but more than that, I have 99 Jeter, 99 Ozzie, 99 Trea, 99 Lindor, 99 Volpe, 99 Jazz, 99 Chipper, 99 Ketel, 99 Machado, Charisma Pena, Glaus , etc....eligible at SS.

Is Tatis' card that much better that it is worth the stubs? I want to justify pulling the trigger on buying him....but it is hard to see how it is worth being the most expensive card in the game...

Find value types that are lesser rated.
I would play this over rated

I think a salary cap mode would be so much fun. Assign a value for these cards and build a team strategically and using inside edge. They had a salary cap mode on previous madden years and I remember playing that more often because it was more fun and strategy was involved

Once again, you have franchise for that. Maybe it’s time to accept the fact that Diamond Dynasty just isn't the game mode for you?

So I’ve played diamond dynasty for years before but all of a sudden when every team is full of 99s and there’s no strategy and hardly any skill anymore it’s not the mode for me… got it. You’re right. Definitely the last mlb the show I’m ever buying again
