I don’t think there is a union for veterans that former players sign into like other games or if so I don’t think the baseball one works the same, it’s why we don’t have the legends the other games do.
@Teak2112 I don't think excessive hrs would be a problem if it didn't come from every single player on the team. If your team is effectively 9 iterations if Barry Bonds that's no where near a simulation. At all.
@chucky97___ Correct…But when I played I would say I earned 50k per day just playing the game. Plus you can earn 5k every game you win in Seasons. My point is you can really stack coins in Madden. So while the cards may be more expensive on the auction house, It’s so much easier to earn coins than in DD.
100 percent I have been between 4 and 5 million coins for months now
If I recall correctly using WC last year also didn't accumulate progress for Team Affinity for those cards, meaning while they may help in game and overall XP they are useless for TA.
I’m sitting at 550k and have been grinding since early release. So basically I’m halfway there after 40 days of grinding.
I'm at about the same spot, and I think I play way more than the average player. I'm almost surprised when I hit a new "gate". It's just so slow to me this year.
I will keep playing. But, I'm sensing that after grinding TA, Season 1, Part 3, I'll fade out somewhat this summer.
@ChuckCLC Maybe it’s just coincidence and I’m wrong…It’s just odd that through all TA1 and all the other programs I never pulled anything other than the 100 stubs - Like 100% of the time. But since the last update I’ve pulled standard packs 100% of the time. Again, Is it just coincidental? Sure I guess it’s possible.
Opening packs on MLB the show is no different from opening a pack of Topps from the local card shop. You can get a bunch of nobodies. You can pull Mike trout 1 of 1.
I think the biggest reason I would fit into this topic is not afraid of playing online but more the fact I know I am an average player at best. Also up until like last Wed I also was on the PS4 so factor in PS4 and not as good was like why try it. I will admit now that I have a PS5 I am more tempted to try but again my skill level or lack there of makes me very hesitant to do it.
I do plan on doing the online part of the Hunt tonight but not looking forward to it -- LOL
There's a new event and extension of the ranked program. However the new easter program isn't really a grind, it's a bunch of unrelated items where you find easter eggs in the game. No stat missions/moments/etc.
@IrishFist412 i just had it where my opponent had like 5 of those they cant make a play in field either it gives them 0s for contact power fielding all of it
@Blind_Bleeder Yeah, That’s what I read…REALLY disappointed. Was hoping we’d see a video & Ramone would be saying “We heard you guys & Sets and Seasons are GONE!”…Oh well, Lot of disappointments in life. I guess the show is no different.
I started the game last month. My theme team is even somewhat competitive. I’m not sure this is a bad thing, but getting packs with 97 OVR and under cards is not much of a reward. Hey, it only cost me $10 so…
I just want to clarify that my post is how “I”feel…If you are enjoying the game, Not burned out, Happy with the structure, Not bothered by being forced to play in ridiculous stadiums, ect…Then have fun! Keep playing! Enjoy yourself!…But if you feel the same as me then please say so, Fill out the surveys, Post on social media - If SDS doesn’t know how people feel then nothing will change.
