Stories like this are why my RS record is currently 0-0.

So glad the 50 pack didn't cost me 75,000... in 50 packs I got zero diamonds and a whopping TWO gold players. (Throw in the Ballin pack and I got three gold.) Seriously, SDS?

I'm just not understanding playing ONLY offline and never wanting to play vs people even if it can be toxic players online ie bunt dances pausing etc. For the most part the players you face online play fair and it's really not hard to get some wins in an event or stats to complete the programs.

You do realize that computer games were at one time only offline and gasp people still enjoyed playing them? You think Pac-Man and Space Invaders were played online?

I find playing offline less stressful and I still enjoy building a team and hitting bombs with that team. I don't complain either way... I love that the game gives us opportunities to build a team using both online and offline.

But don't tell me which way I should enjoy playing.

It's the only major sport where a massive comeback is always possible, because there's no clock. Basketball, hockey, football, soccer... at some point you simply cannot come back to win if there's not enough time to make up enough points or goals. Baseball? You just never know. (Well, until the third out.)

Monitors are nice but no reason to get anything over 120Hz as no console will support anything higher than that. Having a 144Hz monitor with a console that outputs at 60Hz won't make it the game any faster...

Add that 4k 120Hz monitors are $$$$.

I'm trying to insert my 2B created player into my DD lineup, but he's showing up as a left fielder with no secondary position. What's going on?

Yeah. But you would have to make sure the game stayed tied until at least the 6th inning.

Because once you take and keep the lead, in a Conquest game, the game ends.

So you would have to either not score and keep the cpu from scoring until the 6th inn. Or match the runs they do score.

Say you're up 3-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd. You have to let them score at least 3 runs to take it into 'extras'.

This is if you're trying to do it via Conquest.

And you'd have to keep everything under 4 runs, otherwise your pitcher has too many ER for a quality start. I think I'll keep the QS to 9-inning games...

Are you using a TV or a monitor? Makes a pretty big difference when trying to hit a 102 mph fastball. Frustrating for sure though.
