We both have cross play on , every time we try to join a exhibition match we can’t ready up and 5 seconds later it kicks us

Been trying to play with a buddy that is on Xbox ( I’m on ps5 ) everytime we join each others lobby if its a diamond dynasty exhibition match , a regular exhibition match , or even co-op it just kicks us out every time , we can join but can’t ready up or do anything then couple seconds later it’ll kick us …

Any idea ?? Any fix ??? Both have cross play on …
