Personally, in my opinion, once you hit World Series the game is unplayable. Sure, I can still win and climb to 1000+ if I wanted to, but why would I? Playing this game just to win 2-1 or 1-0 isn’t fun. You watch guys like YFK or McGunski and even they are having games where it’s 2-1, 3-2. That’s not what made MLB the Show fun. SDS, it needs to go. There’s a massive amount of people on the leaderboard that break into WS and just quit because the gameplay is no longer enjoyable. Go take a look at the amount of pages of people at 900-915. No one wants to play anymore. Maybe games where it’s 1200+ you could do legend, but even then I don’t understand why you would want to. Sure, top 300 players in the world can do well most of the time on legend, but when LITERALLY 99.9% of your player base doesn’t want to play on that difficulty, it’s detrimental to our playing experience and SDS as a company, because people are putting the game down. You can’t have pinpoint pitching and legend difficulty. Personally I love pinpoint, I think it’s improved the game. But paired with legend difficulty and 101mph sinkers, game is unplayable. Patch it out.

Personally, I don’t feel like batters should be able to launch pitches a foot inside. I’ve lost too many games because late in games I throw a great cutter or slider inside, and somehow it gets turned on for a 420ft shot. Don’t understand it.

What's your lifetime record and BA online then?

Lifetime? 627- 497. This year it’s 57-31. Batting average this year is .320. I’m not a 1200 player but i’m a good player that plays at/near world series every season. I think i’m good enough to speak on whether or not cards perform.

I got Thome for bench bat purposes. His swing seems alright, but haven’t used him enough yet to know if there’s something up w/ his card too

In 10 ABs Online i am 1-9 with a hbp. I’ve squared some up for some nice outs with him. He also seems to jog a lot. Jury still out tho.
I also have seen a lot of jogging out of him. I’ve had a lot of good timings with perfect pci placements just for it to weakly line out. I’m not removing him yet, but we’re approaching it

The card sucks. Wondering if it’s just me. No matter how well I barrel the ball up, best case scenario with him seems to be a weak base hit. Not sure why.

some of you may remember me asking for a refund since I have not been able to complete a 9 inning game this year without a disconnect. well, i’m now running 135 download, 13 upload, upgraded my ISP, and have switched to wired. the issue persists. again, no other game do I have this issue on, no game gives me fits like this, let alone just a single disconnect. the servers suck and SDS is responsible for that. good news tho, I got to the eighth inning before it disconnected this time!

for those wondering: i’m on about 180down 17up on my playstation. again, speed isn’t the issue. nor is me disconnecting on any game an issue. it’s JUST the show. no other game.

i’m with spectrum and have the max internet the provide... gonna ask for them to swap my equipment out and see if I get any results

I don’t see how it is considering I don’t have a problem on any game besides this one. i’ve never lagged out or been disconnected on any game besides the show

i’ve had the game for about two weeks now and have not been able to finish a single game. I have only been able to finish one showdown, and have more disconnects in three inning conquest games than I have completed games. i’ve never completed a nine inning game OR a BR game, due to me being kicked off the servers. I have tried wired connection, WIFI, every internet setting possible, and I do not have a problem with lag or being kicked off the servers on any game besides the show. I have bought about $50 worth of stubs and bought the $100 version on top of that. considering I have not been able to play the game hardly at all, I feel like i’ve been borderline scammed. this is insane
