Cont.: Disconnect Issues (refund)
-
some of you may remember me asking for a refund since I have not been able to complete a 9 inning game this year without a disconnect. well, i’m now running 135 download, 13 upload, upgraded my ISP, and have switched to wired. the issue persists. again, no other game do I have this issue on, no game gives me fits like this, let alone just a single disconnect. the servers suck and SDS is responsible for that. good news tho, I got to the eighth inning before it disconnected this time!

Sorry to hear that. I use a wireless connection with a verizon jetpack (it's a hotspot) while also running 4 or other devices on said jetpack. Never had any problems.
Where do you live?

So a large metro area? Service never a problem down there?

I also live in Fort Worth and I get the and Network Error disconnects fairly often. Like OP (and quite a few others), this never happens for any other game, I never lose connection on my phone or tablet, and my internet is the best I can get in the area (brand new modem too). It’s frustrating to say the least. I’ve only play 8 RS games all year because I never know when the network error bug will strike

Did you upgrade to a completely different ISP, or just service with same ISP? In doing so, did they change out your modem as well?
It doesn't make sense that your connectivity issues are stemming from the server side. It makes more sense that there are NAT or open/closed port range issues within your modem preventing it to maintain a consistent connection with the game servers, or to other players online.
AT&T's equipment is notorious for this and causing online gaming issues. So, if you're with AT&T, I'd start looking in that direction. If you're not, it would still be helpful to look into and cross off the list of troubleshooting as this is almost always the cause. Some online searching may help you find what you could try whitelisting in your modem to help with the DC's.

got one yesterday for the first time since I stated playing this year and not sure if the player was lagging my game. It happened when i was checking the runner on 1st base the game got like stuck and I got a disconnect and got he lost and on top of that the bs gamer sent me a nasty message accusing me of been a s.....player!!!that was frustrating since we were tied at the bottom of the 10th!!!!

What kind of modem? I had these issues last year until I got a modem that did not have the intel puma 6 chipset. That chipset in modems has been known to cause issues with this game for some reason.
