Ball hit to shallow LF to my CAP and the base runner almost ALWAYS goes for 2. And runner on 2nd goes to 3rd. It's good for my stats and XP but it's incredibly unrealistic.

I don't understand this, rtts is supposed to be the story of your journey to the bigs. Almost every player ever has had to play another position at some point in their career yet not in rtts. I created a LF who apparently can't play center or right? Maybe even 3rd base... I just don't understand why it's still not an option. Seems to me it was once in the game, did they remove it and why?

Do you have cross-play turned off? If so, try switching it back on. For whatever reason, turning it off made it inaccessible to me. Once enabled it worked again.
Thanks! that worked!

Is it me or is it broken for others too? I haven't been able to enter it since launch.

Why is my Ballplayer in Daily moments an undeveloped 65 overall CF for the Colorado Rockies when I, 1) never created a CF and 2) Have never played for the Rockies.
My ACTUAL Ballplayer is a 87 overall SS (99 Pitcher) for the Yankees.
Is SDS just making things up now? Am I supposed to get excited about a challenge that pits "My" Ballplayer against guys like Garrit Cole, Nolan Ryan and Max Scherzer? Just because he "looks like" the character I created?

Are you PS5 or PS4? I'm still on a 4.
So I switched to my 2-way RTTS guy to check this out. When I'm in clubhouse and make the "My Player" active by moving to it and then hit triangle, my player card comes up and what shows in the upper right corner is my pitching repertoire - my 5 pitches and what their average velocity should be. If I switch to one of my fielding archetypes and do the same thing, what's in the top right is again my pitching repertoire. Same pitches but with lower speeds because the loadout messes with that.
When I exit RTTS and load up one of my one-way guys who is a position player only (in this case CF) and do the same thing, what I see is a heat map of the pitching zones vs left and vs right - I again don't see what you are describing.
When I exit RTTS again and load up yet another one-way guy but this one a pitcher I see the pitching repertoire again.
I'm sorry man but I'm not seeing what you are describing.

I'm on ps5. The player Status I'm referring to would be just above the pitching repertoire. Maybe it's just a ps5 thing, weird. I'll post a screenshot on Twitter if you're curious. @Humbleguycrumb

@HumbleGuyCrumb_PSN - I saw your post on that earlier and to be honest I couldn't even find where you were seeing that. I loaded my two-way guy and couldn't figure out where you found that. Can you walk me through how you got there?
From RTTS clubhouse hit triangle on "my player" and look in upper right hand corner

I don't suppose either of you understand the "Two way status" /20. Currently mine says 34.1/ Innings pitched and 32/20 games played. Does it affect anything important?
-
Ok, thanks. That's the same concept I was suspecting on HR/9 then
-
I don't understand why my pitcher gets a -H/9 on infield groundouts. I sort of understand the -HR/9 on flyouts if batter makes solid contact. Don't know if that should happen or not but I justify it in my mind. -H/9 when it's not a hit is baffling to me
-
Can someone explain what the two-way player Status means in upper right of Ballplayer info? Mine says 28.0/20 Innings pitched and 21/20 games played.

i'm getting annoyed now w/ the half the head missing from players/coaches and the silver headed coaches. hope they fix this tonight.
Same. They won't though. Unfortunately
-
Screen flickering, app crashes, all white coaches, heads cropped off, loud horrible audio pops when entering clubhouse. Every update to fix rtts breaks RTTS and then we have to wait for another update to break RTTS while fixing RTTS... I joke but seriously this update has taken us backwards.
-
Randomly while at bat I'll notice my equipment affects my attributes but it's so rare (like 1 out of 15 appearances) it's pointless to count on. Wasted stubs on equipment.
-
It worked for me. I'm legit only trying to help. Ballplayer doesn't reset only RTTS story.
-
Start your RTTS career over and it should stop crashing
-
I hate to break it to you but it seems if the RTTS save file you're using is from before the last update it is corrupted and you need to start over to fix the issue. Not sure if there is another way around it because I tried everything. New RTTS definitely fixed it for me
-
It's seems when they "fixed" RTTS progression in the last update it broke something in the old save files. I can confirm, for me at least, that creating a new RTTS game file fixed the app crash/ce error.

So, what you're say is there is nothing I can do and I absolutely cannot play the game until they accidentally fix it without acknowledging it? I wonder though how many others are getting this issue if an at all.
So I went back and found the emails I had from Ubisoft regarding this error (Please note, this is only for the error initially posted). Here are the instructions they provided to help try and resolve. Maybe give it a whirl and see if it helps for you:
Make sure your PS5 system software is up to date
Turn your console all the way off (not just Rest Mode)
Boot the console in Safe Mode. Press and hold the Power Button for seven seconds (release when you hear the second beep)
Connect a DualSense controller to the PS5 with a USB cable
Select the option to “Rebuild Database”If I remember correctly, it’ll take a while to rebuild the database. It didn’t work for me, but again, if you google, it has worked for others.
I have done that prior to posting and it didnt work unfortunately, thats the troubleshooting straight from playstations website as well. I just started a new RTTS game file and (fingers crossed, knock on wood, ect) havent had the app crash since. hopefully thats the fix. Maybe the "Major fix" to RTTS broke the old save files.
-
Have you tried creating a new save file for RTTS since the update?
CPU base running broken?
Still no secondary pos for cap?
