RTTS is Unplayable. Keeps Crashing

I'm tired of this. I boot up the game, I go through the long intro screens, I get to RTTS, I start a game, wait until my appearance. As SOON as I start my appearance, the game crashes.
Please fix this. I am about to go insane. If anyone else is experiencing this nonsense, please say so.

ma'am.
Simming the game in question lets me play the following game just fine, but it made me go 0-4 and lose my hitting streak. It's not a good temporary solution. -
Happening to me too for about 4 days now tried simming, tried deleting game and reinstalling it, tried starting new RTTS game still doing it. Getting sick and tired of it!!!!!

It's happening to me as well. I can't even do batting practice. Literally anything I do with my created character crashes the game. They REALLY need to fix this!!!!

Well, if your save is corrupt, that might fix it. Might be the only way out actually.
And actually you don't lose near as much as you might think. With your first toon your base stats all started at 30, and you've been working them up - well that improvement was done to your "universal player" - meaning that any new characters you start will have exactly the same stats (provided you equip the same archetype and perk cards).
True, you do have to start over at AA and get through the first week or so where they try to force 2-way play down your throat. But after that, you're now in AA as a 76 instead of a 56 (or whatever the particulars in your case) and you just dominate and get moved up fairly quickly.
Anyway - could be a legit way to get you moving forward again.

I'd rather tough it out until they patch it. My fix seems to work for now.

It worked for me. I'm legit only trying to help. Ballplayer doesn't reset only RTTS story.
