How do you get him in the lineup along with the 6 selected cards from both users?

MA betts and Riley are very difficult to take out my lineup for this reason. Also love HRD sotto still. Wasn’t long ago that I finally took HRD acuna, seager and j-ram and MA reynolds and schwarber out of my lineup.
Totally anecdotal in a sense, although I have 100+ ABs with all of the above vs juiced, non-active quirk players, but my ops is usually better by a couple hundred points.

Easy answer. Small sample size. Could go 0-3, 1-3, 2-3, of 3-3 any given set of 3 p/p’s. Overall I’m sure everyone’s is within a +/- 3% with a larger enough sample size.

I've never played in Houston. What's the deal with it?
Next game you play choose minute maid and come back and report

Is there a clear cut winner of which combination of attributes helps cover the most ground defensively, particularly for middle infielders? For example at 2B; POTM Mondessi with his 99 speed and 85 reaction VS Finest Mookie with his 94 reaction and 72 speed - who gets to grounders in the hole better? What about for shallow fly balls - maybe Mondessi for this one as speed may be more of a pure factor?

DJ LeMahieu - 125 contact vs RHP/LHP and if you watch Cbrev's video about active quirks you'll see how important they are. DJ has 8 potential active quirks which makes his PCI about as big as it gets for any hitter during any given situation. His speed hurts ya in double-play situations but I don't think it hurts on the defensive side with him due to his 97 reaction.
-
It's not an easy one for sure but his PCI is plenty big to sit on anything relatively down the middle and get 3 over the fence. The hardest moment for me was the Rivera one - where I was at in the game, my team was nowhere near high-90s and needing 3 runs (at least) in 2 innings was a drudge.
-
I might be the only one, but I’m all about the DJ Lemahieu card and playing him at 1st (betts at 2nd). DJ has so many active quirks with 125 contact from both RHP and LHP. I have him leadoff so he’s less likely to be in DP (lol) situations.

Basically I keep having issues on low line-drives over my infielders that causes a delay in when I'm allowed (or recognize the need) to switch to my outfielder to take over the route.
A number of low liners end up getting past my outfielders into the gap or I'm barely able to cut it off when I have to reroute the outfielder to take an extreme back angle route that allows the runner to get to second.
These hits generally should be cut-off easily and not result in an extra bag for the baserunner.
What am I doing wrong, because this never was an issue with previous versions.

I have only been able to beat the "Starter" showdown, which didn't seem that hard. For the 1st Inning Showdown, is it really this hard for everybody? It seems impossible. I have failed/gotten kicked out of the Showdown about 15 or so times now, no exaggeration.
I can't hit for anything. Pitched I guess perfectly and have the PCI indicator show up, I'm still so late on those that they are a foul to the opposite side every time. How can I be so late on pitches when I guessed them and knew they were coming? Why is it so hard to hit the ball?
Did something change for physics of the hitting or something? I've seen a lot of people complaining, but I have no idea if it was a 'patch' thing causing this, because it was impossible for me on 3/13 and it's impossible for me today 3/22.
Are you playing on a TV or a Monitor. Bet its the FPS. I had to ditch my LG because of it. Massive difference with a monitor or TV that has a solid "game" mode

@PennStateFencer said in Easier to get Trout or Mantle?:
I bought the game last month when it was on sale for $10 and I had Mantle within 3 days. It really wasn't that hard. Spend an afternoon flipping on the market and then put in the buy orders you need for live series cards.
Honestly, Trout wasn't much harder. I unlocked him two weeks ago. Again, I just flipped some of the lower cost guys until the profit covered the cost of the card itself, and then I moved on to the next set of cards. Making stubs in this game is ridiculously easy if you use the market. I haven't checked today, but yesterday I was making 15-20 k per flip on 95 Dibble. I flipped him about 4-5 times before the margin crashed and called it a day. That's 80-100 k profit for minimal effort while I was working around the house doing other things.
Did you pay to get mantle within 3 days or never sleep?
-
It’s a major grind for me to get that many event games finished. (Baby at home so I get limited blocks of time. I can see me paying for LS to get mantle but how does everyone seem to get trout!?
-
I bought Bellinger finest, Soto, honus, machado, degrom. 300k atm. Obviously that would be enough to complete LS but it seems everyone I play has mantle, Griffey, thought, MA tatis and then still the same caliber team the rest of the way that I do.
-
I don’t get it though. I’m 96 gold in xp and I have maybe 2/3rds of the live series cards still.
-
I can’t justify spending $200k on him when I have no problem getting outs with other Righty RPs - fingers, Jansen (even though technically he’s more expensive), Mariano, Gagne, and neshek
-
I have played a ton of DD and I’m nowhere near getting trout or mantle. What’s the quickest way to get them and which is easier/faster? I have a stacked lineup already but would replace Soto or move Bellinger (finest) to 1st if I could get 2 out of the 3: Mays/trout/mantle.

He's up there but the top OF include: Trout, Mays, Griffey, Soto, Finest Bellinger then it's Walker/Cobb
Don’t forget Mantle.
100% had him queued up in my head and left him off. He’s in the list above walker/Cobb and maybe a few others with those two if you’re not worried about defensive attributes
-
no way he goes that high
