Did we lose the ability to jump to the bullpen using the D-pad right button?

I go to the exchange screen but there is no actions I can take, 1st inning says complete

I've tried the starter showdown twice and both times after beating the second mini boss Clemens it boots me out to the main showdown screen and makes me redraft.
