Yes I did, not even 2 minutes later actually. The point is that moments are so weird that it's actually quite funny. Have you ever hit a slider in real life? I'm gonna go ahead and say no you didn't. Even Tony Gwynn will no doubt homer a slider down the middle on a powerful swing, because of you know.. physics. Goldy against a LHP with that pitch in that location and that swing, and still being able to get robbed.. that's hilarious. I thought most people would understand this and I didn't really have to explain, but I'm glad I could help you a hand here.

Would love to see the real life stats of Goldy down the middle with a slider. Doubtful he has hit 1.000 with a HR everytime

Well obviously the key point here was that I hit a perfect/perfect flyball. I'm fairly confident that Goldy is actually hitting 1.000 on that pitch with a powerful swing and the correct launch angle, but please prove me wrong.

We got a heavy phillies program because Halladay was a new legend. At this point in the year, nobody would get excited about a yadi card or a waino card, Pujols considering they never give him his live series swing should get a sig series this year. Waino and Yadi will probably be in a new pack or something this year.

While I agree that online players would not use Waino or Yadi, offline players might. I know I would use them almost exclusively. Waino's curveball owns the CPU.

My thing is that if these guys retire then there is no telling how quickly or slowly they may be added back as legends so send them off in style and give those of us who are fans I chance to use the boosted cards for a good chunk of the year.

could legit use his Waino and Yadi's live series card against the cpu and dominate.

Yes you can do that. But they're like what, 5 standard packs? I was specifically talking about the Takashi pack. Would've been a nice incentive to get that each time you actually win the championship.

that would tank the value, just do the 5 pack method, you can get like 25 packs an hour.

Luckily I can deal with it and it doesn’t bother me but it might not be that for the next person. I will play some, win or lose, and get a message telling me to do better and stop using mommy credit card and dumb stuff like that, I’m pretty sure we all been there and it happened to us all more than we like. This was at a time I didn’t know they all show up at 65 ovr regardless unless you pause the game and look at his stats. He had a glitchy release and wind up so it was very hard for me to hit anything and also he was just quick pitching the whole game.

Long story short I quit after the 6th inning cause I got down 3-0 and I suck so I knew I wasn’t gona make a comeback. But I was frustrated I couldn’t hit a 65 ovr pitcher lol not knowing what his exact stats were but I’m pretty sure he was probably a 99 ovr player like my CAP but I didn’t know they all show up as a 65 ovr regardless. What your guys opinion on this?

DD started out with Dynasty players where it was basically an entire team of CAP's. You could rent MLB players for 10 games to fill the holes in your line ups. You would even get Dynasty points to add to their attributes. They are keeping that alive and it should be kept IMO. I plan to use it to create my fav players that are not licensed like Bonds or maybe Andruw Jones.

keep CAPS relevant be leave them for offline use, they expand more on mini seasons, or more offline modes and people can create those and actually replicate there favorite players.

Not sure why you and others don't like CAP's. What's the difference if you grind for a 97 Babe Ruth that would have similar attributes to a CAP? I don't use one yet but I will create one at some point. I now anticipate angry messages after a game saying that I'm being cheese for using one.

because babe ruth is actual player IRL. Thats my gripe.

they are projecting what some of these guys will be years from now. technically none of them are that good yet so to me it kinda still falls in the made up category just my opinion anyways CAPs ain’t going anywhere .

aka hyping prospects up so they can get recognized, the future stars cards are never the end game cards, theres maybe 1 or 2 end game ones but none top the top dogs and the end of the game. Future stars are great for the game,

Why is it cheesy? A CAP pitcher with an absurdly deceiving delivery that makes it impossible to hit I could understand.

But what makes using a created player any different than using say using a cracked out Aldeberto Mondesi card with 125 power and 99 speed when we know he's furthest from the thing? Or any of the other juiced up Finest/Legend cards they throw on us?

facing some made up player named [censored] cheese wearing number 69 with 120 power and 100 plus contact is just cringe. We dont need it in the game.
