Bryant a defensive liability!? Have you watched what he's done for a Cubs squad this year that has had to rely on both platoon guys and minor leaguers to replace the injured starters?

Because if you haven't, you should. And you'd definitely be thinking otherwise about Bryant. Dude hasn't played third base since mid-April! He's been called upon to play each of the outfield positions (above average to great by the way) and first base (average to above there).

When you have a versatile MVP caliber player like that and he's not getting bumped to diamond, there's a real problem. I might be a Cubs homer, but I know A LOT of folks around baseball would put him in the Top 2 or 3 for MVP right now.

To compare him with JD Martinez's poor defense is a huge [censored] mistake.

324k and had the game since early launch. Having to work 7 days a week (Sat/Sun are a little lighter but not by much) and take care of a 10-month old really cuts into things.

Double XP is great for those that actually have plenty of time on their hands. Agriculture doesn't really give a F if you're not playing.

I had some rare time away from the farm tonight and fired 'er up in Conquest. I had read earlier today that PxP was increased for HRs? True?

If so, this is EASILY the worst night I have had so far where dudes that should be raking with PERFECT PERFECTs are just lining out or warning track-ing it. It's incredibly frustrating.

Also, SDS, please increase Kyle Tucker's SPD: he's hit multiple triples, has excellent running and defensive skills, yet he's got freaking [censored] near Rhys Hopkins speed. Please get this right.

I'm sorry, but if you're hitting the XP Cap DAILY, you probably need to step away for a bit. That is some serious gaming time that I think the majority of players just simply will never, ever reach. I understand the ire and the reasoning behind "We paid for a product, now let us play it how we want," but I also see SDS's side in this to mitigate no-lifers from pound-towning it for 8-12 hrs a day.

I might be a fuddy duddy who works his [censored] [censored] off six days a week and is getting tired of these complaints, but I sure as heck know that it's not the end of the world (or the seasonal progression path) if I don't play until Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon.

Breathe people. Breathe.

For those of us that put in over 65+ hours of work per week (WORK work, not gaming work), we'll probably never hit the full end-of-season numbers.

I personally think it's just fine for where it is. If people are earning that much XP a day (and/or more) they're easily treating the game more like a job than just an hour or two hobby like many of us.

Well Kris Bryant has a negative defensive war this year and was horrible last year all around. He also has done most of his offensive damage against lefties and struggled against righties.

Despite your take in Machado, he still has a positive defensive war this year and was great all around last year.

If both trend in the same direction this season, they will meet around 85 overall soon imo.

I'll put a little more stock in your "struggled against righties" comment if he comes back from their upcoming west coast swing with even worse splits. Because a .289 average with an OPS slightly under .890 isn't something I would entirely classify as a struggle.

Please people: actually read past "free pack" to see when they'll be sending them out. I have no idea where critical reading skills have gone.

Whenever I read these posts, I'm almost glad I work as much as I do during the week. I'd be miserable if I was always wanting more.

@AdeptOfMemory Those instances are few and far between in this country. What you said is completely ignorant and a huge dump on teachers in general.

As a former high school English teacher of close to 13 years (before leaving and becoming involved in the family farming business), I never ONCE had this issue with colleagues or anyone remotely close to our district in our state.

Frankly, this kind of a comment is incredibly detrimental to the epidemic we have nationwide of teachers leaving the profession.

Think before you post something like that.

@Sarge1387_PSN Same. 55-60 hr work weeks, on top of trying to be a father and a husband, doesn't exactly lend itself to getting to the end of the XP path.

Those folks that have already got there and are currently spinning the wheel, definitely play every day and for AT LEAST a few hours a day.

That's not feasible for some of us.

After I got home from work last night I hopped on to explore the latest content. Lots to do but more of the same (outside of the rather unique extreme missions that increase in difficulty as you proceed and succeed).

I also continued to wonder how on earth anybody is able to complete everything that this game throws at us. I got three hours in last night and barely felt like I made any headway. There's definitely plenty to do for those of us that have limited time and I do appreciate that.
