I’m NMS and vegan and I need to tell everyone about it every chance I get.

I think we’re just at that point in the year where everyone sees a card and instantly thinks they’re not good enough for their squad.

116 contact and 87 power vs righties is plenty enough to hit tanks.

Why are you on a forum for a game you don’t want to play?

What if I live in San Diego. Is SDS a local business then?

Last year we had signature team moments, leading to cards. I loved the idea because I love using theme teams in this game, but moments suck.

Instead of moments, make a new US conquest map and instead of playing the current MLB teams, play each teams “signature team” with flashbacks/legends. Get the cards as rewards for beating each division on the map and then a boss to complete the whole map.

At least this way it isn’t mindless moments. We can work on team affinities and use whatever team we want.

I actually like that they’re being more gradual with overalls this year.

They need to just ditch this whole set idea altogether next year. This year was a massive L in content structure.

I’ve never judged people for spending money on the game. I’ve done it myself. But with the way the game is right now, it’s disappointing the horrible gameplay isn’t enough for people to hold out for a fix. This is why there’s no urgency to fix anything.

There is no singular “best way” of doing anything... there will always be people who suck at the game and they’ll knit pick and complain about anything to justify why they’re bad. But SDS are the ones who took the investment risk in order to be able to create the game they want. So you either take it or leave. Either way, stop complaining.

People can complain if they want. Don’t like it don’t come on the forums.

What is the psychological explanation for people thinking we care about posts like these?

I remember when I first found this forum. It was probably back in 2011-12ish. The mods and devs were all over the forums communicating, listening. It was a very positive relationship with SDS.

Then DD took off and the communication stopped. So obviously that relationship is going to dwindle. I think when Ramone basically mocked consumers on a live stream is when the communication went from very little to none at all.

If SDS sees this, we just want communication. That you’re aware of the issues and working on them or even just say, we currently don’t know how to fix that and apologize. But leaving us in the dark forever (even over minor tickets submitted) is going to make your consumers turn on you.

You’re wrong. I hadn’t played baseball since high school and joined an adult league at age 27. I had to relearn just about everything. Fielding came back relatively quickly.. hitting is a whole different story. If you haven’t even seen high school pitching, I doubt you even touch a single pitch. Have you even used a wood bat?

PXP eligible. Stat missions. Good chunk of packs/xp. Get to play challenging teams and face players you will actually face in RS.

Only L is they should add more individual cards like Longoria that are able to be earned every new season. It would also be nice if there was a little more depth with stats and such but I’m not sure how much better that would make it.

I haven’t had any issues with it so far this year. Not sure why. But this is the best part of DD for offline content.

Some of them should’ve been core guys in my opinion like Babe and Chipper for example. I like the idea of set collections I just wish they didn’t become unusable online.

The will still be usable online as you can use your wiod card slot to make them eligible for the next season's lineup

The wild card can be changed so you could use Ruth one game and chipper the next.

I still think people are blowing this whole thing out of proportion considering I years past most people would have stop using the cards the earned in April and May likely by now. Too many people fixated on the number in the corner. Grieg is already an example of a card that will see a card from set 1 received a set 2 card so there will likely be many set 1 player cards that get set 3 cards.

Can people stop with this reasoning? People quit using cards from April/May because they were mid-high 80 overall. These cards are end game level cards and if you use a Theme Team you will need these cards to have a complete lineup.

It’s an unnecessary idea that was implemented just to make people have to use more stubs. If people really don’t want to use cards from April/May, then let us decide that ourselves. Having cards expire is one of the dumbest things SDS has done in DD.

I think if anyone says it’s too hard they are just asking for handouts. And it might seem long but it’s just because they released everything in one day instead of spread out.

I don’t care how much the bosses are when I get there. Getting the inning program done in a day just ruins the fun of it for me. I like needing XP
