I have mlb 20 not 21 so if I got ps plus would I still be playing 20 or would I not be playing off my disc anymore?

I’ve never played online but I have played mlb show 20 & accumulated many diamond dynasty players so one day I could create my own team. My question is if I sign up for ps plus, will I be able to use all the players I’ve accumulated to create a team, I have mostly 99 rated DD position players in flashbacks & hoping I didn’t waste my time getting them
