I did and it turns out that I had to adjust the HD settings on the PS5 back to 1080p. It was set for something that my current TV couldn't handle at 1440p. That fixed it. It is in the same settings where you adjust screen display.

Ditto on the 99 Tatis Junior...

HOF or not, I agree with you that the game play is much better in Events. I don't hit for as much power, but seem to get more hits and the abilty to fight off pitches in the events.

At the start of two RS games this weekend (two different opponents) I get the "IBB me 10 times and then I will quit" request. I have seen a lot of other requests, but this is a new one for me. What are people trying to pull with this one?

Can we just all decide to have a cease fire and not use these guy for a while? It is like they are the only pitchers out there.
No, I will pitch both of them. Thanks for asking though!
You are welcome to pitch them all you want. Some days they can be hit pretty well. It just gets stale seeing the same guys over an over again.

Yes, I was talking about diamond dynasty. I may have to explore franchise or other offline modes.

Why does it feel like game has a different playing experience every time you try and play? One game the hitting goes soft, the next the pitching is all over the place, another game the fielders run around drunk, and in the last game of the day your RF may hold the ball for 30 seconds before throwing to a base.
I feel like I am playing a Little League International simulation. One game we have a 12 y/o throwing smoke from a 46 ft. mound that no one can hit and others have young kid throwing wiffle balls that never make it to the plate. Not to mention the 9 y/o in right field playing baseball for the first time who has a better chance of a fly ball clocking him in the forehead than in making it into his glove. All we need is the dad screaming at his kid for striking out.
I love this game and will continue to play it. Nor am I a good player and don't aspire to be. I just want a consistent experience.

Had a random run score for my opponent. Runner on 2nd with 2 outs and get the third out on a drop third strike throw to first.
I end up still in the field and the runner on second time warps home to score. The next hitter grounds out. I swear I got four outs that half inning. Didn't list anything in the box score as far as a run scoring and the box score is a whole different series of events. Perhaps we weren't following the script or the scripts were mixed up.Another game had the in between line score something totally different from the actual in game score. Also had an outfielder just stand there with the ball in his hand for a sold 5 seconds before actually starting the cut-off throw animation.

The pitches are coming in slower and the timing does take a little getting used to, but I do like the feel when solid contact is made.
